phil, maybe your most important video yet. this shows how easily we can get away from standard or langstroth hives. is it important to place the new entrance holes is the same geographic place as the old hive; then the forage bees can find the new hive?
@arcitejack Yes - for best results, place the new hive so the entrance is as close as possible to the point in space that the old one occupied. It is OK to put a nuc box on top of a hive for a day or two, though - the flying bees will find the entrance because the home bees will fan their scent to attract them.
