@HalimAmy These babies do both ;) That is you would need to have a tech install a switch (unless you are brave enough to do it yourself). The transformer has the taps for both 110v and 220v in the power transformer. It also has an IEC contact (like a desktop computer) for the power so thats easy ;)
i got the gig bag. fits like a glove. this thing is beautiful. impresses all that hear it. i think i is way cooler than the sf champs i was looking into. sounds way better. i opened it up and the electronics and work are first class. sprague atoms, the works. i was playing around with different preamp tubes the other night new and nos, i put the ones you had back in it. I can't really find a "bad" sound with any combination, just different.
I had one and sold it. I must say I bought it because it is cute. Very midrangy and boxy sounding. Good for recording but too nasal compare to a full size amp like a Fender Deluxe reverb as an ex.
This was an old question. You sold it to me. lol. It still sounds fantastic and I did buy the same bag that you had for it. Fit's like a glove. Thanks again.
I just got one of these amps. I'm playing a Gretsch Brian Setzer model thru it with a little slap-back echo unit tied in and it sounds awesome! Think Scotty Moore- early Elvis, and Stray Cats sounds.
A solo would have been nice, but it certainly has a great rhythm sound.

i have an original GA-5. These amps are nothing like the real thing.
The real amp has a 6v6 (the best sounding power tube IMO) and is tube rectified.
