the game is cool i bought it yesterday ..but i used to play this kind of games before, climbing, solving puzzles and stuff like AC or Prince of persia, so Uncharted was nothing new for me thats why Im gonna change it for an other game.

Up to this mission I've been perfectly fine, I'm on hardened and I just cannot seem to kill him. He's too fast and I panic and I start missing jumps and which slows me down to land on grenades. It's getting annoying! I just want to complete the game lmao!

Hang off the first ledge you see when you run & stay hanging. Dodge his shots, he'll never throw grenades. And shoot the resin as it appears & wait a few seconds for it to reappear again. Easiest way to kill Lazaravich.

@ashurienagozal ashurienagozal, glennboxshall36, and gfatreak2 are right. Hanging off the first ledge, dodging his shots, and shooting the resin is the easiest way to defeat Lazarevic. This way, he never throws grenades. A casual gamer who got into gaming only the last month or so and having got Uncharted 2 just this week, I beat Lazarevic the first time I played this part of the Tree of Life (Normal mode). I had more difficulty crossing the crumbling bridge and saving Chloe's (and Nate's) life.

i Found when you jump that ditch at 44 seconds the easiest way to beat him. All you have to do is instead of jumping the ditch, latch onto the edge. you wont fall off youll only hang there. Youll see there is the explosive sap really close. just hang there and the big ugly bitch will kepp shooting and shooting at you. keep shooting at the sap and he'll eventually die. I found this the easiest and simplest of ways on all levels. Let me know if what you think of my strategy!!!

It's worth noting that I did not like this fight at all. I much preferred the Navarro fight from the first game. This fight seemed, I don't want to say lame, but, it just felt poorly executed.

It is a fairly cool concept that they managed to pull off. It just didn't seem as streamlined and polished as it should have been. This is Naughty Dog we're talking about, the masters of polish on games. They just got...disinterested on the polish of this fight. They did enough to make it work, but they could have done SO much more to improve it.

Here's to hoping the Big Bad fight in the recently confirmed third one will be the best of the series.

it took me 1 try on medium...

took me 3 tries on easy and on hard i got him to the last explosion necessary and died twice then i beat him twice2 for 2 :p! Also i find it easier to use the 92fs 9mm you start with instead of the m-4 because you run faster(i think) oh and one last thing is that if you get him to go into his little cutscene where he gets a little more hurt near a wall you can toss a grenade which 2/3 times hits him and lets me get ahead of him

Maybe i'm imagining it, but i think shooting him does do a little bit of damage. I've shot sap to damage him, then thrown a grenade at him so he got stunned, then i shot him and it went into one of those cutscenes.

Complete the game on Hard and start a new save file on Crushing (without carrying over your medals and other stuff).

If you shoot at him consistently in between blasting him with the resin, you can get to the cutscenes every 2 blasts.

That's what i thought but you can create a new save file and it would be like you never beat the game before. Then just do it on crushing on that new save file and you get all medals at once :D

theres a much, much, much, much easier way to do the boss fight you need to hang on a platform kinda hard to explain... the platform is at 0:26.
