  • how is music named?

  • outstanding! kudos!

  • SUPERBES IMAGES - BRAVO

  • I'm so glad I held out on the FS100, Canon is making a "HISTORICAL" anouncement on November3.

There's inside talk of 4k sensor. Another large sensor that was placed in an observitorium telescope for testing. And proffessional audio attachment in the form of a battery grip. They reveal everything in hollywood on NOV3

  • Really nice! Did you use overcranking or slow down speed in post?

  • @skimmel5 it was overcranked at 60fps.

  • @jetswing

Thanks. What do you do with 60fps if you decide later to run it at "normal" speed- say 24p?

  • @skimmel5 you can conform it to 24p or 30p in the post but since you would have shot the overcranked footage in 1/120 shutter or faster, it will lack the typical motion blur. So you would have to add the motion blur as well.

  • Beautiful video, great composition, and such a stunning footage!! What lenses are you using for this project if I may ask? :)

  • @kalonk13 Canon FD 35-105mm f/3.5, Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8, Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8, Canon EF 500mm f/4

  • @jetswing Do you need an adapter for putting Canon fit lenses on?

  • @jetswing Amazing video! How were you controlling aperture on the Canon EF lenses? What mount adapters were you using? Again, that's the best FS100 footage I've seen yet.

  • @jetswing How are you mounting these on the FS100? Manual Focus?

  • what is the song?

  • This is just simply amazing.

  • THIS IS ART ! ! ! BELIVE ME!!! BEAUTIFUL PEACE OF FILMING!!!!

  • Hello Jetswing

This is one of the best videos I've seen so far demonstrating the power of the FS-100.

I wanted to ask - me and a friend recently shot on one and we're having trouble importing any clips that were shot at 60p. It there a Sony plugin for log and transfer or anything like that that you needed to import such footage. We're using FCP 7. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Again, great video!

  • Nice video. One question on these footages... did you have to use the manual " overcrank" shutter at all for the fast motion?

  • Can you tell me which adapter you used and if you know of a good adapter for Canon EF lenses?

  • Certainly captures the essence that is the perfect beach day ...just magical.

  • hi there!

    really nice video...

what about the crop factor on your lenses? is it really 1.6? how did you cope with it?

  • @lucanaddeo the crop factor is around 1.5x with FS100. It's not an issue at all. If you're coming from shooting with full frame sensor, your lens lineup will shift (e.g. 35mm becomes 50mm) so you might have to add couple of more lenses on the wider end.

  • @jetswing

thanks for your quick reply. I'm about to buy 3 lenses and considering the crop factor I decided I'll go for the 25mm, the 35mm and the 50mm.

soon I''l post some videos and waiting for your comments :)

    take care

    Luca

  • i dont approve of the little child "playing native"... beside that the video is fin

  • @borisdepetrov its about a sec long...

  • @borisdepetrov it was a part of Peter Pan play that kids were asked to participate in.

  • @borisdepetrov

political correctness sometimes leaves a bad taste.

  • FANTASTIC. :)

  • This looks awesome!! Can I ask what color settings and lens you've used for this? How did you set up your profile to achieve this film look? Was this a post job? Thanks!

  • @soonsup1004 yes, it was color graded in the post to achieve the look. Please follow the Vimeo link in the description box for more technical info. Thanks for watching!

  • Wish I was there!

  • Forgot to ask, what's the name of the pieces of music used? Thanks in advance.

  • @windjammerone they're Adventure Seas, Dreams, and Dramatic Victory -- all by Martin Kennedy

  • awsome!!

  • Wow, this must be the first video I've seen from you, otherwise I would already be a subscriber. Amazing work!

  • Another great film by Cody, he really captures the essence of having fun on the beach. Thank You for making this available.

  • Another great video. You capture the kite festival very well. If someone has never attend a kite festival, I tell them to watch your 2010 video and now this one.

  • I can believe that's a FS100. I'd love to see what you do with a 5Dmkii : )

  • Wonderful, Photography and Editing, just Wonderful !!
