@Czaendermajer The vessel Alucard used looked a lot like a Blackbird. I'm not sure, but I think Blackbirds are bombers or fighter/bomber. The reason why you could not see what it was, is because Rip's bullet helped it to shit, and thus it started to burn.

A Blackbird is a super high speed recon plane. It's basically used for taking pictures, if I remember correctly.

Nope, definitely a spy plane. In fact, if you play Supreme Commander you'll notice that the highest tier spy plane for the UEF IS a Blackbird. In game terms it's meant to be an updated version of the real thing.

If you want a plane that blows things up, try the A-10 Thunderbolt. It has a 30mm gatling gun that fires depleted uranium anti-tank shells...
