  • Just an observation, but what you said about the importance of answers, even if they're "wrong", could very well be used as a justification for religious people believing in falsehoods. I think answers should be reserved until there's some sort evidence to base them on. Just because they fulfill a deep psychological function doesn't make them necessarily "valuable" or beneficent. They are still wrong.

  • lol thats funny i was wonder why you were pacing so much then you said you were nervous then i loled

  • My dad has that exact poster in his room.

  • TAA likes to block users if they leave rude comments on his videos. I know. Check it out.

    watch?v=eA3JamXNsqU

  • @BestVideoResponse My question to you, sir fags-alot, is why does it matter? He's already stated he doesn't REALLY care what you think. So this would be further proof of that. Why in any way would you think your stupid video mattered to us? And why did you create another account to prove such things?

  • "He was an asshole!" made me lol for sure

  • I just watched this entire video and followed every single word. this guy is my new hero.

  • I bet TJ eats butt.

  • You have 43 minutes and 14 seconds.. Go

  • i would love to know why you cant stand still when you are talking. I definitely thrive on the why

  • @brandon420z1 i know a bunch of people who do that haha

  • I love you too.

  • if you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe

  • Man I wanna get a drink with some icecubes!

  • @billyDkid1001 You're just an idiot.

  • You are born to do this, I listened to this in the background as I was doing something else and it was STILL interesting.

  • 38:26-38:28 you sound like Howard.

    Stupid comment, I know.

But it sounded like him kinda, the way you said people.

  • I agree with you on death, it is a scary thought that everything you experience will be gone. I'm glad I found someone who agrees with me on that. =-)

  • 39:00 epic fart

  • The purpose of a Democratic Republic isn't to enact the pure will of the people, it's to protect the minority from the angry mob of the majority.

  • always a pleasure, tj

  • Does anyobody actually watch this? As for me, I'm just listening while doing something not even remotely linked, in this case making an assignment about breastcancer.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH

I very rarely watch the video itself. I often have it playing while I play a game or read or whatever else. I do the same while watching Doug Stanhope clips or anything else.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH

I do the same thing. I work on homework while I listen to TJ rant in the background. I like hearing him talk about shit. I don't watch TV anymore. I just put on some long-ass TJ vids and get going.

  • ohh my god the high hairline! i'm 19 and i hate it :|

  • even if he makes no sense he rocks i could listen to him for weeks i would still continur, and he fuckin rocks!!!

  • this is boring

  • @Checker222 thats the point, sit back play some simple flash game with this in the background and enjoy!

  • If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch you must first invent the universe.

  • @syscothong havn´t heard that one before *sarcasm*

  • @eatbeavers I was just saying that because he didn't get the quote right.

  • I am glad you didn't cut out the part where you soiled yourself.

  • dude you are awesome keep doing what you do

  • You said creation :), but no sweat

  • This account should have been named TJ4Life!

  • apparently, i'm a "real fucking purist"

  • I always put on a video from you when I have to clean my room. I love watching your videos, but I'm usually too mentally pre-occupied to listen. Even when I'm not fully paying attention to your message, you have a pleasant voice that motivates me.

    Thank you.

  • I envy your improvised speaking ability.

  • Hey! I have the same walmart star wars poster!

  • on a tangential note, sxe phil is kind of a douche

  • gah you think exactly like i do man, too much, it's occaisionally a curse.

  • Yeah I wish TJ did more things like this

  • Play DJ Shadow's Endtroducing while watching this. It's amazing

  • I'm pretty sure Bill Waterson saw "Tom and Jerry: The Movie".

  • Damn! Dude, I'm 33 and back in school since 2 weeks now. Most of my (mostly female ;) ) teachers are younger than me. Which is kinda cool. I would be the happiest fuck on earth if I had as many synapses(?) connected at the age of 25 as you do.

  • The part about freedom was very interesting, because recently I became very libertarian in my ideology, because I resent the ability of the government to tax me and take my money to spend on purposes I don't agree with. I resent its ability to impose rules.

However, it's true that in the absence of a central government, the most powerful would be able to do that anyway, only with more chaos caused by warring groups.

Thinking about this makes me apolitical, because it's like there's no answers.

  • you say you value the truth , yet you would rather have a wrong answer to a question then no answer at all ?

  • I could listen to TAA talking about what he's going to have for dinner.

Mostly because I like his voice, opinions, thoughts and comedy.

  • Please come to San Diego so I can buy you a couple of drinks :)

  • do more of these tj - i love you rambling about yourself and... stuff.

    do em for me

  • For some reason, listening to TJ actually helps me overcome my frequent feelings of depression. I'm not sure why.

  • @ABlurredReflection cause his rage is intensive, adn by watching him vent it you vent a small part of yuor own

  • @ABlurredReflection It's knowing that someone else feels the same as you that your not alone in your views and emotions.

  • @ABlurredReflection wow same! but im sure to some listening to him has the opposite effect haha.

  • @ABlurredReflection its because its great to hear someone who is even more cynical about than life I am : P

  • @ABlurredReflection haha story of my life...

  • what is Freedom exactly? who sat down and said This is what True Freedom is.

  • The Sagan quote was: "If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe."

  • When you mentioned the thing about videos not being seen, or writing not being heard, it really made me think of a lot of artist online who have amazing work, but no one ever see's it. There's a lot people who have the courage to do that, and it's sad when no one even see's it.

  • i wish they would get rid off you

  • get a life and stop wasteing ur time talking about nothing for 43 minutes wow geshh and ohh nice star wars poster loser

  • @DeathFromaSniper33 You know he is getting payed well for this, right?

  • @DeathFromaSniper33 He does have a life, how else would he be alive?

  • I want you to be my best friend.

  • 3:33 Punk Rock FTW.

  • Who can guess who says this?:

"evolutionists have to maintain their paradigm"

  • @TheLiberalSoup you?

  • @parkourulez

    NephilimFree!

  • just found your channels today man and your awesome straight up fukin sick man keep it up.

  • when does he fart

    tj when do you fart

(too long didn't watch) haha jk im going to watch the whole thing

  • @TheLiberalSoup

    sometime after 39:14

  • @LightVSDarkness64

    thank you

  • I like the part where you fart.

  • the ad next too your vid is a book about going too church

  • @FlashBangWarrior epic win

  • TJ i think you are mistaken. I think this truly is more "you". The fact that this material is not polished and produced allows it to convey so much more than the videos on your TAA channel. Your doubts, your fears, your boredom but also your hopes are presented in a much more direct way in this videos.

  • TJ, Terrence Mckena advocated replacing Science and Freedom with Novelty and Habit, what is your view on this?

  • On a sidenote, a person who does not care about changing anything, is outside of the whole issue. Free

  • Your thoughts about freedom are interesting. How can we have complete freedom to do anything we want, without infringing other peoples freedom?

  • negotiation on freedom* sorry for that

  • negotiation freedom takes time becuz it gets complicated at some points. I see the boundary of people's freedom where it violates others' freedom or when it gets really offensive to others' rights. I've been thinking about if people should vote on all things represents freedom/democracy, but sometimes I don't see it necessary to vote on some individual issues; for instance gay-marriage. I mean that's their issue; are people to tell others who/what to choose in their personal lives?

  • i feel strange thinking of these types of things and being 14.

  • @tonybalonymac

    ha! im 14 too

  • @tonybalonymac im also 14, bitch aint it

  • @tonybalonymac Try it at 12.

  • Have you ever been worried that maybe the raw TJ would kill some people's interest in the polished TJ due to the "mysteries" of him being elliminated?

Kind of like eating something. If you eat a little each time, it stays delicious and always makes u want more. But if u eat a lot of it, then it's enough.

I am not saying that that is how I feel. I think that you're a complex enough individual to be doing this for decades where people stay interested the whole time. BUT has it ever worried you?

  • :O Fwooooo~ Danger!

Freedom is such a tricky beast. The idea of "freedom to do all but interfere with another person's freedom" seems like a good start, but it's definitely not without its flaws. I can think of a few myself, but I'm curious, what do you think of the idea?

Looking forward to the new vids on this channel. Honestly, I watch your vids because you seem to think a lot like I do, and it especially shows on this channel.

  • Power of their site =/= power over you.

You're essentially crying about not being able to vandalize people's shit.

The "free speech" you long for is some kind of global omniscience.

Of course, that raises a paradox of freedom from other's bullshit.

  • Death has never really freaked me out. You have what you have and then it is gone. Enjoy it.

  • TJ 4 President!

  • @bunanapie Everyone says that, but He's. An. Anarchist. LOL. I wonder if he'd forgo that belief for the power though if he could magically become president ?

  • I feel like you would make a great teacher.

  • nice words of a versucher I am the same way man it is a gift...

  • All of this has come through my mind so much, and it never ceases to sadden me.

  • I can listen to TJ talking for hours man...

I wish I could meet with you some day TJ

  • @maorvanu FAN GIRL LULZ

  • @maorvanu same

  • @maorvanu He should have his own show or Radio

  • i would suck is amazing atheist cock to taste is wisdom and acknowledge is vein y texture

  • @maorvanu Pretty much be my dream. :/

  • @maorvanu Hell yeah.

  • Great video, TJ. I personally love the reverse physiology bit (About people having ego boosts under their artistic integrity.) Not sure how that really brought me up to what I used to believe as a child (though true again, I'm still a child if you really think about it), I use to think that when we died, we'd just watch our life over and over. I probably spent days of my life really wondering, if I was living my life now or if I died and I'm watching it.

  • you look thinner tj

  • If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe.

  • Coughlan666 censored my critical comment and blocked me for it, so I'm not disappointed that he's been censored in turn.

  • Will rant for a penny. You should put it on your T-shirt :-).

  • You are a boring person if you get consistently bored. You hate boring people, maybe you are one yourself. I am hardly ever bored, I can always find something to entertain me, whether is it reading a good book, writing, watching TV/movie, watching a a sporting event, go workout or play a sport, or just browse on the internet for hours. The most times I am bored is with other people. I consider myself a loner and I'm more than fine with that.

  • Wow this video is rather odd. Just the other day I described you as the rockstar of internet atheism and now in typical rockstar form it felt (ridiculously so) as if you were addressing me. I just started my first youtube channel in which I actually appear the other day and am just beginning to understand how difficult it is just to talk in front of a camera. A few days ago too I decided I want to write a novel despite the fact that no one will ever read it. That is odd. You are brave.

  • Nice fart humor.

  • he's trying to kill us by boredom

  • I enjoy these long, rambling videos of yours, and I hope you will continue to make them.

  • if i wanna make a cream pie, i need a universe? :0

  • Actually, violence has solved problems for me. In school, I beat the shit out a bully, got away with it, and he was too fucking scared to look me in the eyes again. Problem solved.

  • @Raakiszh Thats usually the only way to deal with a bully in the long run.

  • Really looking forward to more of these kinds of videos. Very reminiscent of your Long Video Sunday style which I enjoyed back then. The part about memories was a really interesting mindfuck, too. Now I think I am going to ask some people about the most important parts of my life to see how many I really remember and care about.

  • Tj u look like u lost ALOT of weight

  • Regarding the plastic nature of time, I recommend reading the short story "My Pretty Pony," if you haven't already. (I got a pdf, if you want it.)

  • 18 people that watched this like bestiality.

  • i like you

  • wow, i think that i've learned more from this vid than i ever had from a single textbook.

  • You know, Mr. Amazing, that little spill about it "taking real courage to fail" really hit home for me. Thanks for saying it.

  • there was something i thought was contradictory. bear with me, because for some reason i waited until the end of the video to comment and now all the good parts of my argument are gone. you first state that wrong answers are better than no answers at all in "emptiness of questions" then state that all answers we come to as intellectuals or societies will be deemed stupid and irrelevant in the future in "dead genius". then why bother?

  • im not paying too much attention, but i like hearing you talk

  • @Mr0hyah Exactly how I am too. Been watching TJ the past 3 years and I enjoy his long, calm videos a lot more than his short, loud videos.

  • @Mr0hyah Yea I like playing it in the background while doing work or playing on the DS. Youtube Downloader makes this an awesome podcast.

  • What you said about the way people talk about the dead reminded me of a book called Speaker For The Dead. If you haven't read it, i highly recommend that you do so. The idea of a speaker for the dead is learning as much as possible about a dead person and telling the story of their life as it was without making any part sound any better or worse than it really was.

Seems like you did great once again

  • It's fun to watch TJ rant, it's like his mind is having a fight with itself when he's trying to talk

  • I talk like this to myself all the time.

  • You reminded me of Heath Ledger's Joker in this video, I don't know why. I can honestly say what you said in this video about the things that f*ck with your mind at night, is something I can relate to. I think of all the things (not ALL, but you get it) you do at night as well. And it just makes me so restless and unable to sleep because I'm wondering about why my mind is wandering so far into a place I won't feel like returning to tomorrow, or the day, week, month, year, decade after.

  • Acid, E, coke? What the hell.... lol Mushrooms? I cant put my finger on what hes on.... Maybe even analytical vicodin-ish ranting mixed with coke jitters with raccoon shroom shark eyes

  • @boogie504 That's exactly it.

  • Atheist Scum United was never a bad idea.

Actually people in india and other such countries are dying to migrate to countries like the US for the freedom of speech. Freedom of speech is non-existent in others countries and countries like US, Britain are much better of, Ironically youtube actually is a testament to that fact.

  • 38:55 epic watery shitty fart

  • 'If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch... you must first... invent the universe'

  • I have had a 43 minute long orgasm

  • @xz50 I see this as it was posted 43 minutes ago. not sure why this interests me.

    22:33

  • I like it more when you rant like this lol. It seems better to me when you don't plan your videos.

  • I love these kind of videos. Mainly because I really get to witness your thought process unscripted. The result is a far more interesting and insightful delivery of ideas.

  • Dr. Jonas Salk.

  • You are beautiful.

  • Please make the volume louder.

  • One thirsty motherfucker..

  • TJ. You are awesome. I got 15 years on you, but you say all the things I wanted to say when I was your age. Keep goin brother. luv ya.

  • Love both channels.

  • I love these long talks.

  • YEAH !! Old School Amazing Atheist !!

this isn't you daddy's amazing atheist.

  • I believe a large portion of the people who say that you are not as good as you used to be just were referring to how you "used" to be more raw, and now with this channel they get the "old raw" you back. Either way, it's good to see the raw TJ again.

  • I like this video.

  • ur drink looks like piss with ice, idk maybe its just my video quality :s

  • I like this....

I like hearing ideas... ideas inspire ideas...

    you're my inspiration

  • are you off your add\adhd meds here?

  • i enjoyed this

  • Life is suffering. To live is to suffer. Some of us suffer more than others, but suffer we all do. No one chose to be born, but we choose to live and suffer or die and rest every day. Death will liberate us eventually.

I study mathematics because that will not be overthrown. It's always true. Think Plato and Pythagoras. Still, ultimately, there is no known purpose for this reality.

  • What do you think about Marilyn Manson saying his next album will be suicide death metal?

  • Watched the whole rant, agree - thumbs up tj :)

  • louderrrr

  • Agree.

  • I was thinking today about definitions in the dictionary

Isnt it weird to think that you can look up a word like Cosmos and it will say something like "the world or universe regarded as an orderly, harmonious system. "

But what if you didnt know what World, or Universe, or regarded, or harmonious, or system meant?

Then you have to look ALL of those words up

And then those definitions will contain words you don't understand.. so it keeps going and going

    Maybe Im just high ?

  • @Pozorrogo You had me going for a bit, then i realized i was just high too.

  • at 19:10, he sounds like Dr. House. I approve of this entire rant. Thumbs up.

  • @gregthepirate Dr. House is my hero and role model :D

  • Keep up the good work, feels underful to see that someone more then I think about everthing and nothing.

  • TJ, may I quote you on a line you did in this video?

"It takes a lot of courage to fail. Because in order to fail at something, you had to fuckin' try in the first place. Trying, knowing that if you fail, no one is going to give a shit. That's pretty incredible. That's the real fucking courage in this world if you think about it."

    TJ Kincaid

  • "It's human nature, especially male nature to "Imma beat his ass".

There is no human nature. There is only human behavior and the environnement you grew in. That environnement ultimatly determines the way you act.
