  • Hey uhm.. I hav a problem with my full screen keyboard.. All the buttons' action listeners seem to be slightly down from the original key position to get the command entered. For an example, when i clicked on the upper half of the BACKSPACE key, either the right or the left navigation button is selected. I have to click on the lower half of the button in order to enter it's command. Even by clicking upper halves of P or O buttons i still get the BACKSPACE command entered.. What's wrong with it?

  • hey how to insert emotion icons in text ?

  • hey i dont i see the full size keyboard on my 5800 after i intalled v 40 frimware can i some body help me

  • @BillAzam The option for the Full Size Keyboard only appears when you turn the phone to landscape orientation. They changed that for the new firmware, i guess because you can only use it landscape orientation, so you just need to turn the phone before you select it, rather than selecting it and then turning the phone.

  • hey, i just bought this phone, and i have no idea on how to remove the stylus. i try it, but it's tough, so i thought i could try and get some help

  • You just slide it out. If it is stiff, then use your fingernail and pull it. If it is too stiff, then take off the back cover and push it out from the inside.

You will not complain about this in the future, because most people find the stylus comes out too easily after a few months.

  • but the screen does not scratch much??

  • No, the stylus is plastic with a rounded tip, not really possible to scratch the screen. Also i have a screen protector on the phone anyway.

  • Thanks for the clarification. Checked out your other vids. The alphanumerical keypad seemed to work quite nicely.

  • thanks for the clip, I was looking for something like this. Just curious, why did you use the stylus and not two hands to type(as I guessed it's designed for?)? Shouldn't that be faster? Or is it hard to use your fingers on this keyboard?

  • There's a steep learning curve if you want to use your thumbs or fingers on this qwerty keyboard. Too many errors are made, and it's not as fast. The resistive touch screen of the Nokia 5800 works better with stylus input. I use the alphanumeric onscreen keyboard with my thumbs and it's pretty good. Check my other videos for that demo.
