Ok.....so when we tried to do this today, the security people stopped us in the mall. We went to ask the management if it was ok to do the Free Hugs thing...but they said no. At least the guard was wonderful and got off her scooter and gave us hugs. We did get a few hugs, so it made some people happy. That's what we were aiming for.

@whitecarnation75 The name of the soundtrack is called Wavin' Flag, originally written and performed by a Canadian Artist called K'naan. It's been used as the theme song for many different world-oriented events, and after the Haiti earthquake was taken up by a group of Canadian Singers/Musicians called Young Artists for Haiti. That is the version of the song that I used, and it can be bought on iTunes. I recommend getting it, and it supports Haiti relief and in turn supports World Peace :)

I like the idea of bringing the project closer to home, seeing it in action, and sharing it with as many as I can in the best way I know how. It helps me believe these things are real. Some of the best ideas are done millions of times, and that's what tells you how great they are. But it is no reason to stop the pattern - where would that take us?

I was especially nervous this morning like just thinking about it and then when we saw the parkinglot was packed but then as soon as we held out our sign people came, and there'd be times when the people would just walk by and kinda smile but not go for a big but it was cool because if anything we made people laugh which was awesome with such a large scale of people.
