It's very interesting to see this! I don't remember seeing that whole commercial airing, though I do vaguely remember shorter versions of it, and ABC using that slogan for quite awhile.

You should title this "ABC Something's Happening 1989-90" or something to that effect because that was the campaign slogan the network used from 1987-90. A great post nonetheless, but I must let you know that this is about the third or fourth copy of this already existing on YouTube :)

Definitely! I'm tearing up because this is so sweet. I don't remember this promotion but I'm sure it came on every week or so to promote ABC. It's a great commercial becuase it has the names of the Days of the week showing across the television shows.

Here's hoping for the next 3-8 Seasons of "Perfect Strangers" and all the episodes of Family Matters! They haven't even put Family Matters on DVD yet!

It aired anytime ABC could fit it in, which could have been multiple times per week, and affiliates could also air it at their own will during late night/early morning "fringe periods" (when advertising revenue for programs hardly counted as much, thus allowing for over 2 mins. worth of airtime for this).
