Just watching the World Series and saw the Lefty Grove bridge between AT&T Park and the parking lot of the stadium. It looks identical. Why don't we maintain the Johnson Street Bridge the way they maintain the Golden Gate Bridge? Constant painting to prevent corrosion. Just replace the areas with corrosion piece by piece over time, never letting the bridge go out of service.
