it's because the song is an traditional, ethnic song. We Malaysians are damn PROUD of our culture, heritage, traditions etc...And we are damn PROUD that Siti Nurhaliza is among the few modern day singers that sings and produces traditional Malay songs.

Charice is a good singer but too bad she is more Western than Asian. In fact, all singers in your country have lost their Asian identities. If it had not been their accent when speaking English, people would have thought that they're from the US

Am not a music buff but am kind of electic when it comes to variety of music that I listen to, and this artist (SITI) has that kind of music and voice that I really like.
