hey man, when u got your adipure sl's, did they have a lot of creases like they do now?

I just got a pair and am not sure if they are real because the leather doesn't have many creases and isn't as soft

I've checked everything else and they seem legit. They came with tags and the black adipure sl keychain

One is synthetic and one is leather, it just depends on which you prefer. I doubt that a blackout version is released and as far as I know it will not be coming out.

fantastic review josh!! i'm really torn in deciding which puma boot to purchase: between the puma v1.11 SL's and the V1.11 k's. i know it may be too much to do a review on both, so i just want to know which one you would choose. ur comparison of the v1.11 SL's and the adizero was really good as well so thankfully, u have some experience with both the K and SL material. my priorities are comfort and durability so i'm thinking the v1.11k is the better option, what do you think?? hows has your adipure sl hold up so far? Im stuck between the beckham adipower and the adipure SL (i found them both for the same price online) and I want one that would last me awhile and has a nice touch and comfort. thanks! nice comparison btw too bad pumas dont fit my feet well

To be honest, it's not the most durable boot. You are much better off going with the standard version of the adipure IV.

Does the k leather v1.11 offer a good feel for the ball? I tried the adipure sl and all the padding really hinders your feel for the ball, therefore does not give you good touch. I was wondering if this was the case or not for the pumas. Thanks.

I agree that the adipure SL does feel a little weird. The v1.11 k is also fairly unique in design, but once I did get used to it, I came to really like the boots. The leather quality is great.

@vujojosh When you say the v1.11 k is fairly unique in design do you mean there is also a lot of padding in it? My biggest complaint with the adipure sl was that it felt like a pillow on your feet and you couldn't feel the ball at all, almost like you never even touched the ball. Does the v1.11 k leather impede your feel of the ball, or does it provide a touch that is true and natural? Thank You.........p.s. you should do a v1.11 k leather and synthetic comparison. That would be awesome.

@vujojosh I read your review on the v1.11. I also read your review about the adizero f50 leather and 100% agree with you when you say the f50 synthetic is worthless in wet conditions. What would you say the differences and similarities are between the f50 leather and the v1.11 k leather?(besides the leather quality) Which of the two would you say best suits a playmaker who plays in the midfield? Thanks a ton man.

Your position should have nothing to do with what boots you should wear. Everything is different between the v1.11 K and the leather adizero. If you want my opinion on which one that I like better, it is by far the the Puma v1.11 K.

i know that you probably rotate cleats fairly often, but, which is your main go to boot? i would assum the mizuno ignitus, but because you have so many pairs, which ones do you use the most?

That's a tough question, but I can honestly say that there is no particular boot that I wear consistently. I would say that there are about three different pairs that I rotate, depending on the conditions.

That is a personal preference choice, but if I had to choose, I would pick leather.

They are and they aren't. The overall feel of the boot is similar, but the boot itself is entirely different.

in my opinion the stud configuration on the puma speed boots disappoints me as i often experience slips. i think the superflys have the best traction overall and for some reason i just don't like the studs on the adizeros, i prefer bladed or soft ground studs. can't wait for the mixed soleplate on the vapor viii !!!

Most shoes are built very wide now. There are very few shoes that you would not be able to wear due to having wide feet. The only shoe to stay away from if you have wide feet would be the superfly.
