I bought But I do 12" from Japan in late 80's and this song is also on it. The lyrics always made me laugh "Now i'm stuck on you like a truck on you". I thought Linda sung the 1st verse and Maureen the 2nd, nice to know I was right and yep still got the record around somewhere :-))
@Feisty1967 No, Linda and Bernie are the blonde ones. Coleen is the youngest one. Denise is on the front on the far right at the beginning. On the back row from left to right go Maureen, Bernie, Anne then Linda. Linda sings first.
I am so cofuuuussed..... How come there is six in this clip and then there waSsFIVE in the gotta pull myself together and then in Im inIm in the mood for dancing there was 4 ...Help me please
They were not only wonderful and genuine, but they could sing and were surrounded by skilled musicians. Record companies lost the plot since the '80s, their priority is money, not music, all we have now is unskilled musicans on the charts. Coleen sooo cute, I was almost crying when I saw this clip, thanks!!
LOL! How many of them were there? There seem to be dozens! And they often mix and match the combos........sometimes theres 6......sometimes 5 and often 4.
There were originally 6 in the band. Denise left, leaving 5. Anne left to have a baby and the continued as a 4. Anne came back in the early 82, then they were 5 again, then Linda left - back to 4, then Bernie and Colleen left - making it 2, then Anne's daughter and friend joined - back to 4 lmao!!
No wonder it gets confusing...........the way they were coming and going the group should of had a revolving door! Every time I saw them the group was different!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this song!! So catchy, one of the best examples of early 70's pop. This song was written by Greenaway/Cook, who also did "Rainy Day Feeling" by the Fortunes, and Cilla's "Surround Yourself With Sorrow"
I agree with the last poster. I like most songs the Nolans have done - but not this one. They are not singing live, maybe it would have been different if they were.

@cjfran There are 6 sisters in all. One left in 1978, then another left in 1980 so eventually only 4 performed and made albums. :o)

OMG that was horrible. Reminds me of the Boyzone on the Gay Byre Irish Tv show.. Horrendous. But I DID grow to love the Nolans tracks, but NOT this.
