People are unhappy with a huge bank failure's BOSS getting a huge pension and payout and a Knighthood.

It was Gordon Brown and Ed Balls, splitting the Bank of England into three, light touch regulation etc. Fred was the poster boy, an arrogant bully who showed no contrition and was personally castigated by the investigation into RBS.

His Knighthood was for services to banking, and later it appeared he destroyed the bank and the industry, so it was rescinded.

If a person received a Knighthood for services to children and turned out later he was a paedophile, it would be rescinded.
