To bad yt eradicated all uploads of this film. I mean, its not like the film makers haven't all ready made zillions of dollars on the movie. but you know yt. they are brainless toady puppets and must always do what their puppet masters tell them to do.
First 14 parts -- good movie. But, start-0:15 makes it one of the best ever ever. ...Too bad Hollywood can't put subtle endings in that speak so loudly anymore. Thanks for posting :-).
Curious...what did women contribute to professional baseball after WW 2? Yeah, NOTHING! Were any women close to DiMaggio, or a Koufax or Yogi Berra? NO!
"Curious...what did women contribute to professional baseball after WW 2? Yeah, NOTHING! Were any women close to DiMaggio, or a Koufax or Yogi Berra? NO!"
@mctalks I think a lot of that had to do because women weren't given the opportunity, not 'cause the talent wasn't there. Other minorities (i.e. blacks, Latinos, Asians) would be in the same boat, if they weren't male.
@mctalks Really you want to say that to those woman. Maybe the hope of the game and their kids seeing their mom being able to do something a man could do. Myself I played baseball on a man's team till I was a Junior in High School. I was the lead runner. My Great Uncle would be ashamed of yourself. BTW my great uncle is Joe DiMaggio. So never say a woman can't play baseball.
♥♥♥My all time favorite movie....A timeless classic movie w/ a powerhouse cast! ♥♥♥
→→ I really missed this one & i still keep watching this until now!!! 1st see this year 1994 & really dont know Tom Hanks that time. lol...☻Madonna sing the OST....
i dont think it matters who you are, you have to have a heart of stone to not feel touched my a movie about people doing what they love, growing old, and never regretting a moment of it.
Me and my mom watch this movie everytime I visit her. We quote all our favorite lines from this movie. It's "our" movie. So beautiful and moving. It makes me want to time travel back into the 1940's and be a part of history. :)
Wow I havent seen this movie in years! Last time I saw it I was real little, this movie came out the year I was born. Gosh, this movie made me shed tears, I love it!! Thanks for uploading it!!
This is stupid, but i always shed a few tears watching this movie. lol it's one of my favorites. Thanks for posting. It's nice every once in a while, to watch something other than things being blown up, and people being killed...
Thank you so much for posting the entire movie. Gave me something to watch while I was doing paperwork all day. I love this movie. Always brings a tear to my eye!
Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou for posting this. It's one of my all-time favorites. I saw it in the theater back in '92, I loved it then and I still love it now!:D
RIP uncle chet collins aka "yesterday it might of been a ball. tommrow it might of been a ball but to day it was a strike" the umpire. he passed away a lill while ago
The song wasn't on the soundtrack, but was released as a single in '92. The album that Madonna put this song on is called Something To Remember from 1995, one of her "hit's" albums.
God I love this movie, since its been out, one of my favs. I think the women playing in the game shown are the real girls that played in the real game. They can move !
I hadn't seen this movie before and I didn't know what to expect. I really loved it!REALLY, REALLY LOVED IT! Don't know why, but it really touched me.
I love the way the still picture of the team photo. .focusing on Dottie and Kit dissolves into the live action ending featuring the hauntily beautiful Madonna song. This movie is a classic and one of my alltime favs. I've watched it so many times I've lost count. Thanks for posting it. It's a tribute to the American game and those of us who love it. i love how they end the movie. also i love that old lady at the end of the credits who gets all up in the ump's face. "Yesterday that might have been a ball, tomorrow it may be a ball, but today it's a STRIKE!"
Nah i'm not being mean to old people its just really weird how they all changed but u can still see its them and that some of them even died before the reunion
Thank you for posting this. It made me remember how great this movie is (so I bought it!). While there might be no crying in baseball, let's hope that doesn't extend to people watching baseball movies...
