I think at the time Dragon Warrior 4 was realeased I was not expecting a game to be so amazing. Playing through the capters really brings every character to life. The party size was huge. The flow of the game was perfect. The music was sooo good and it all unfolded like a story book. I think dragon quest 5 has the most intence story I've seen in an RPG and it really gives you a reason to hate the monsters... so maybe it's a tie!!!
