  • "Ah Gwendoline, I didn't recognise you there with your clothes on". Best line ever!!

  • 4:04 - 4:30 was the best bit

  • Thanks!

  • I know people are saying this as a joke but I actually think he would make a really good Prime Minster for Australia. :D

  • "I didn't have a dust pan" LOL

  • Going to a recording of yourgen in june, can't wait :D Shaun Micallef is the best comedian in the world in my opinion. Definitely my favourite. Absolute genius

  • lol

  • Micallef is ON FIRE here. Well done mate.

  • He is the KING of ad-libbing!

  • the actors are pretty good for keeping a straight face

  • When Shaun is left to his own devices he's brilliant, but they insist on doing the whole setting up lines nonsense "do remember what you said when..." bullshit. Just let him go and it's going to be hillarious.

  • I like him on TAYG!

  • there's about 10 fantastic 1 liners in there. ssshhhhh genius at work.

  • sounds like some sort of potato snack!! LOL

  • i wish he would do milo again

  • hahaha the start was epic! "oh gwendolyn i didnt recognise you with your clothes on!" classic!

  • He has perfected "The Shawn Kick" 4:39

  • I love it how the support cast are more stumped for what to say than he is =)

  • " ahh gwendolyn i didnt recognise you with your clothes on"

    classic

  • youve taken the wall of and put all these people in!!!

  • thast libby off shortland street o.0

  • i read the comments while the ads are on

  • pmsl whenever he's on it's just chaos lol

  • Shaun Micallef, who literally chewed the scenery, had me at “dodecahedron”. This is my favorite “Thank God You’re Here!” scene ever!

  • micallef is so underrated

  • I still cant believe he studied law!!! man, what a waste of talent it would have been if he stayed with it!!!

  • Shaun Micalef and Barry Humphries, Australia's greatest and most intelligent comedians.

  • is he genius, or is he genius?

  • gotta love shaun pulling shane through the door at 1:02

  • I miss this show so bloody much! Why does all my favourite shows get cancelled?! :(

  • @aprilblenk because of stupid dumb teenagers and their demand for dumb reality tv shows.

  • i just love the door struggle part!!!!!! LOL!!!!

  • I removed her underpants!

  • @webeffect Are you basically saying that Shaun Micallef would suck at "Real Improv?"

  • @webeffect I love this show and Whose line is it anyway, because they're both different styles of improv. I don't think you can really compare them because they're so different.

  • @webeffect

What are you even doing commenting on this video? Go fuck yourself

  • @webeffect You're right that this isn't real improv

But who cares seriously it's a funny show.

  • @webeffect Mate, they are 2 different shows altogether. Whose line is just theatre games that Drama students here in Australia play every day (I teach it in my school and half the games they play on Whose line we play too with my 14 year olds)

Thank God you're here is a totally different show, its controlled improv. Its just a way to see where a normal controlled show can go. Its popular and the comedians have skill. But both shows ask two different things of a performer You cant compare them

  • @webeffect haha you sound smart. dismissing an entire countries ability to produce good comedic improv based on the performance on a single member???? when you write up an essay on something, do you always use a single source? your brain seems rather minimalistic.

  • @webeffect

Why would a dramatic purist like yourself be seeking entertainment from a medium as tainted and crude as the internet?

  • @webeffect Now you're not a pretentious douche are you?

  • @webeffect You do realize Whose line is it anyway had reshoots because the performers couldn't think of anything(not saying it's a bad show). This show is shot from genuine improv, anyone can see that, your just a little shit who's jealous that Australian actor's are very good at what they do and most American actor's are spoiled pricks who think they can spout nonsense and think it's funny. BTW I'm American, I do know what I'm talking about, they really are like that.

  • Great to see true comedic improvising actor. Absolutely Hilarious.

  • bahaha Shaun is so funny, I love him on Talking bout your generation

  • AMAZING!!!~

  • I can't stand Tom Gleisner, the judge.. such a dik

  • Shaun Micallef is an underrated genius

  • i'd tap that chick. Jus sayin.

  • Shaun at his best. Ahahaha.

  • So good that every UK, USA, AU and JP has their specialties in comedy.

    UK: stand up.

    USA: sit-com.

    JP: crazy reality shows.

    AU: improvised comedy.

  • Yeah, Shaun is a damn funny man with an original sense of humour.

  • That was AMAZING!!!!!!!!

  • What a pro!!

  • shaun micallef is just absolutely hilarious!

He is a comedian that doesn't rely on vulgar jokes to get laughs - he is very witty and clever in his humour.

    Legendary!

  • Fair bit of John Cleese in there, but Shaun is a funny dude.

  • "I love what you've done with the place. Had the wall removed and all these people put in"

Pure theatric comedy brilliance: Removal of the fourth wall.

    LMAO!!!!

  • shaun micallef kicks ass

  • the host is annoying me.

  • tom gleisner....bit annoying as a host...but generally a very funny man...he co-writes a really funny comedy book series

  • I went to school with tom gleisner's neice,

annoying seems to run in the family.

  • the host is great

  • Shaun Micallef is the funniest man ever.

  • quite possibly

  • hahahaha he tried to pull him into the scene with him

  • I love Micallef!!!

    He's hilarious and absolutely unique.

    He's great - thumbs up!!

  • i love shaun micallef and thank god your here. the host ruins the show D:

  • @JadeTube95 that's so true

  • Shame really, because Shane Bourne's actually quite a good dramatic actor, but keeps trying to be a comedian, which he stinks at.

  • Comment removed

  • @jtaske02 Shane was a comedian for about 20 years before he took on more dramatic roles!!

  • i love what you've done with the place took out the wall and put all these people in!

    :)

  • shane and ross noble are my favourite comedians on this shows

  • he was born in australia

  • He really is a great comedian, he just goes in and absorbs himself in his environment and the character and really steals the show and makes it his own! A razor sharp wit which he executes with the precision of a watchmaker! Legendary!

  • I didn't have a dust pan, LOL

  • classic door scene!!! lmao!

  • I love when he tries to pull Shane through the door clasic. This is an excellent one, one of my favourites.

  • Shaun is the most talented, random, funniest comedian of all time in my opinion. I really miss the show that he was in called newstopia..man did they make me laugh every week. But the new one hes in "talking bout your generation" that still cracks me up with the random things he does haha. SHAUN FOR PRIME MINISTER OF AUSTRALIA!!!. XD

  • this was jus bloody entertaining.

  • Fantastic!! He just took that scene and made it his own within the first 5 seconds. Best ever!

  • My 2nd favourite TGYH bit after the one with Ross Noble :D

  • HELL YEAH! Noble is king of thank god you're here!

  • this is amazingly well done. so fluent and effortless

  • this is definitely one of TGYH's finest moments

  • best one ever <3

  • "I'm the one who decided not to say the "t" at the end of Crochet" LOL

  • Do you have the one where Sean plays the Scarlett Pimpenelle? That one is hilarious too.

  • THE best thank go you're here skit

  • Hahahahaha So effortlessly and brilliantly hilarious..it just flows..the most iv ever laughed for a TGYH episode!

  • This is brilliant.

  • "Gwendolyn, I didn't recognise you with your clothes on!"

One of my faves on TGYH. So glad it's back.

  • Amazing!

  • how in the hell do the actors not crack up in these scenes?

  • i think is one of the best tgyh skits.

  • best TGYH scene ever

  • My politics lecturer looks, sounds and has the exact same mannerisms as Shaun.

    Never a boring lecture

  • La Trobe Bundoora?

  • That's the one

  • My housemate has a lecture from him, said the exact same thing!

  • I do politics at LU as well

Are you talking about Jarvis ?

    LOL

  • Yeah I am haha

  • He appeared later on the same episode in final 'all in group challenge' scene in the role of a magician. There he was the most brilliant ever! )

  • That's the most brilliant TGYH scene!

    How quick is he here!

    "I didn't have a dustpan" XDD

Shaun made that entire episode of TGYH!! )

  • He is obvs my favourite ever (:

    xo

  • 'i love what you've done with the place, had this wall removed and all these people put in'

    priceless

    gotta love shaun micallef

  • i was in tears!!!! that was so funny!!!

  • That apple thing was so funny.

  • He is beyond genius...

  • I love what you've done to the place, you've got this wall removed and all these people put in...

    Hilarious! XD

  • I love what you did with the place..lol

  • Also watch the one where he is 'the scarlet pimpernel'. Pure, pure gold.

  • you should all watch newstopia. programs where he has control are even funnier.

  • I've been to london, i've been to birmingham, i've been to paradise but i've never been to what?

  • Me. It's from the 1977 song "I've Never Been to Me" by Charlene.

  • "Gwendelyn I didn't recognize you with your clothes on!" hahahahahahahaha

  • that was magical

  • This is the best TGYH performance EVER

  • Shaun is quite possibly the best improviser on Thank god your here. The setups they give him are always tailor-made to his style of comedy. Whenever he's up I know it's going to be a funny skit. Very quick with his lines too, and even if he isn't quick he always finds some way to create humour from it. (I.e. apple eating scene)I believe there was an all-in challenge at the end of this episode where he was a french magician. If any anyone can upload that too that'd be good!

  • "Well, a gentleman never tells, but I removed her underpants." XD I love Shaun, he's so quick.

  • Bring Back Milo!!!!

  • omgg

when he hit the buzzer, for shaun and the woman that must of been so awkward HAHA.

"im the one that decided not to say croquette, it sounds like some sort of potato snack!"

    hahaa

  • i love him. his humour is so sexy

  • LOL sexy?!

  • lol i know i know...i cant believe i said it either..... but it is :\

  • haha never mind, he deserves to have fangirls and boys XD

  • i love him lol.

  • This is my fave of Shaun's. Completely hilarious!

"I like what you've done with the place. Taken the wall out and put people in it".

  • OMFG I've been looking for this. You're a champ.

  • So was i, couldn't find it so just uploaded it :P

  • Is it possible for you to put up the group challenge of this episode too?

  • Yeah, i'll haveta get it ripped onto puter first so might take a while though! :)

  • Take your time

  • i kind of find the curly-haired lady with the big nose to be hot, i don't think a lot of people agree with me there, i would probably not resist kissing her or something in a sketch if it fit in with the premise of the sketch or if i got stuck and coudn't think fo anything

  • I just love how it was non stop laughs... but loved the "I like what you've done with the place, had this wall removed and all these people put in" :P

  • the apple-eating-part is hilarious!!!
