I'm wondering if anyone played the style of handball I did growing up... we would play that you *have* to make the ball bounce before hitting the wall. Is this another variation or something? We would have rules like "No Waterfalls", where a player couldn't make the angle of descent too steep (like hugging the wall) or "Babies" which were tiny little hits that were nearly impossible to return. To prevent this we had a designated area along the bottom of the wall that was unplayable.
@Menkhor This is called "Chinese handball." Still played by the under 12 set. Though I've never head of rules barring shots that are too hard to return . . .

Playing handball with a racquetball? Handball is played with a small black/blue ball. Or with a spalding (pink ball), remember the pumped up balls of the eighties? That was a fast game.

These guys aren't bad, but can't hold a candle to the players of the 60's and 70's who used to play at Avenue P Park in Brooklyn: Stevie Sandler, Howie Eisenberg, Ken Davidoff..and of course the legendary Vic Hershkowitz, the Babe Ruth of One-Wall Handball! On weekends, hundreds of guys would gather round the main court and bet thousands of dollars on games--with Stevie playing ridiculous challenges like: two guys, four hands against his backhand right!
just make believe u dont have a right hand and u have to start from scratch with ur left hand and i agree with davisiscrazy do everything that u can with ur left except........im lefty but not really good with right but enough to use in handball uhm in 1 month if u only use ur left u should be good
