I met this guy at a bar in Gyungju, South Korea during the World Taekwondo Championships this year. It is amazing how someone with a gold medal can have such a baby face. However even though he was actually there celebrating his birthday, he was cool enough to let me get a picture with him~
@Sya93im We are talking about some of the best fighters in the world. Son tae jin IS pretty much the best fighter in his division across the board. Not getting knocked out by him is a feat in itself.
does anybody knows if I like tae kwon do but I wasted almost 1 year of my life smoking tobacco and a bit of weed, am I afected or if I train hard my body can recover that level I am 19 years old
you know son taejin was poor before he won, right? so were the lopezes.
Taekwondo has awarded more first time gold medals to impoverished countries than any other sport in the olympics. If any sport is a poor-mans sport, it's taekwondo.
now tell me the real reason why you don't go out there and kick their asses.
i come from Mexico, and there is no chance if you don´t know the right guy and you have the right amount of money,
there is a lot of corruption as you surely know,
they told me there was not enough sponsorship for me, maybe i wasn´t good enough, maybe it wasn´t in my path, but at that time i won against most of my teachers, and Tae kwon do we did has nothing to do with what the Mexican "champions" do know pushing around and playing dirty... no honor on that.-
I'm not sure who is telling you that you need more sponsors. Write a local WTF official and if they don't explain things properly, write the WTF headquarters and people will get fired.
regardless, these two players have excellent skill, and if you disagree then your evaluation is obviously flawed. son taejin for example won gold in beijing. meaning he beat all the other olympians.
that was almost 10 years ago, not important now, but, what matters is that i see the level had decrease there is no real kombat in here, i see we disagree, but when i was competing , the combat was diferent, faster, more atack, less waiting,
i don´t know, i don´t like Alfonso Victoria style, in general i don´t like mexican style, Koreans are good, none can say no to that, butz mexican style is full of little tricks that in my opinion had nothing to do with the art of taekwondo
La pelea de Son Tae Jin vs Idulio islas en el mundial preolimpico estuvo tambien muy buena , Idulio se apendejó al ultimo...De cuando fue este campamento, es de este ultimo que tuvieron? , ! Excelente material
look at 5:56, unbelievable movement skill. Like untouchable.
also at 5:10 I noticed during his back step he lifted his back foot first and dropped back into the stance. I've seen that explained in a kim-se -hyuk (spelling?) instructional video.
nice moves..

you wont get to your very highest level, but my trainer would say, with enough training, you can achieve everything you want!
PPGdan 2 years ago
Firstly stop smoking.
Then have self discipline to not smoke and be dedicated to your training then your body will recover.
Your still young and 19 only.
Eshton1992 2 years ago 2
haha just train hard and you'l be okay. I smoked tobacco and other stuff and I was fine, as long as you keep training and keep working hard :)

Interesante... un consagrado contra una promesa univesitaria, y más interesante que la promesa no se haya visto enano.
