  • I hear bullsh!t in America like "we are free" "land of the free" "protect our freedoms" , but in actuality if we were free in America, the smoking of Pot VS drinking of alcohol should be no different ... the only crime would be what you did when you were out of control when drinking or smoking.

We have no freedom in America since 9-11 when our govt used an attack to strip us of all of our rights ... are the wall street protests are just the start of the payback to the tyrants?

  • People with sadistic personality disorder often join the police or military so they can have an outlet to vent their aggression onto innocent people.

  • 'much like alcohol and tobacco'... there you go!

  • THE US GOV. Needs to FREE Canadian MARK EMERY !!

  • So, Obamas admin does something libertarians should love, yet watch the majority not give him a thumbs up, especially without complaining about more stuff.

I mean, kep complaining but cant people give him credit for anything?

Anyway, hopefully the war on canabis products ends in my lifetime

  • From this libertarian Republican who voted Constitution Party, credit given where credit is due! Obama's got this one right.

  • Let's hear it for state's rights!

  • Medical marijuana....lol

So it seems doctors are finally admitting they're legalized drug dealers.

  • They are already "dealing" Pharma drugs that are more lethal. Marijuana is much safer than Vioxx or Celebrex.

  • Not a day goes by that I don't see a drug commercial with a listing of about 30 different side-effects.

  • oh my god....

California is about to become the new "fun-state"....

  • liberties, or?

more tax and regulation coming ... not are so enslaved then those who falsely believe they are free

  • War on Drugs is worse than the War in Iraq.

  • as someone who has been on Morphine for severe nerve damage for the past 10 years I find it astounding that some still argue that Pot should be illegal for those in pain.

How's it 'justifiable' when Morphine is basically a mild Heroin (dia-morphine IS Heroin) & that can be 'prescribed' despite being a seriously addictive 'Drug' & yet it doesn't affect the 'war on drugs' one jot!

We all know its about 'Corporate Profits' & pot cuts into MORE corporate interests than any other plant on Earth.

  • About time? The only negative consequences I have ever seen with Marijuana is law enforcement.

  • I'm surprised.

You would think the Republican Party would be more obsessed with this than with denying people access to health care.

  • as a non pot smoker myself.. I dont understand the statement the Texan made about "Its going to weaken the war on drugs" .. Honestly sir, this "war" is doing little good. Its actually killing alot of innocent people.. If the states just legalized it like cigarettes you'd see about as much crime in Marijuana as we see IN cigarettes. You'll also remove the Cartels death grip on society in Mexico and bordering states. Thus crime WILL go down, no money no wars.

  • Tunedup81

Your 100% right. They are doing the complete opposite of what should be done. It's all about control and the money. They all linked together.

  • Good! Seeing how the D-L field test for substances is wholy inaccurate and even unconstitutional. I can not recommend everyone having a copy of FALSE POSITIVES EQUALS FALSE JUSTICE by research scientist John Kelly.
