as someone who has been on Morphine for severe nerve damage for the past 10 years I find it astounding that some still argue that Pot should be illegal for those in pain.

How's it 'justifiable' when Morphine is basically a mild Heroin (dia-morphine IS Heroin) & that can be 'prescribed' despite being a seriously addictive 'Drug' & yet it doesn't affect the 'war on drugs' one jot!

We all know its about 'Corporate Profits' & pot cuts into MORE corporate interests than any other plant on Earth.

as a non pot smoker myself.. I dont understand the statement the Texan made about "Its going to weaken the war on drugs" .. Honestly sir, this "war" is doing little good. Its actually killing alot of innocent people.. If the states just legalized it like cigarettes you'd see about as much crime in Marijuana as we see IN cigarettes. You'll also remove the Cartels death grip on society in Mexico and bordering states. Thus crime WILL go down, no money no wars.
