@willdsotbeer. I think you wrong about the hawk. You must have had the centre of gravity wrong. I bout one and set it up, my first ever plane and first time flying an rc one and flew on the second throw for 17 minutes before hitting a tree. With the stock motor.

EXEPTION : if you are loaded and are willing to spend a bit on a 7 lipo and a much more powerful motor go ahead i will increase the handling immensely. overall overveiw of this plane is it sucks if you don't spend money on it (its like a gold-digga)

wanted to see you land it, it would of been interesting. you probably had to use the catch method where you gram the end of the plane in mid flight :)
Great job flying that hawk - one thing that would be stunning - if you could fly under the bridge, loop up over and back under the bridge. LOL....good luck.
Oh lol i don't know much about RC i am a real pilot however i know that this is only a 3 channel this may have something to do with it. i really don't know
