I didn't know that Mary went off on her own until 1978 when Peter Paul and Mary got back together. There were always concerts on PBS.

Peter Paul and Mary were one of my favorite folk groups. The group stayed together and never stopped performing at least a Christmas Show each year. Their combined sound was magical, each with a voice from heaven. But Mary's voice had qualities in it that made it extraordinary. She will be dearly missed.
