Well done, the composition is pleasing and I think the wolf in the background works well. Art is how you individually define it, haven't Conceptual Artists taught us anything? Duchamp, anyone? Would this sell in a gallery? In this state perhaps not, but what if its blown up to the size of 14' x 12' and output as a giclee print? is it art? what if the whole process were conducted in the gallery then is it performance art? I think we shouldn't be so quick to limit what we define as art.
The real challenge with digital "painting" is creating an image which can truly be called 'art'-- meaning that it has to have the look of a traditional painting/drawing. There should be no evidence of digital work in it (in most cases). This "art" here clearly has the feel of a cloned image. Your reference to "having to paint" in certain areas or "wanting to stay away from drawing" shows a lack of artistic talent. If you're a real artist then you'll be able to pull off a traditioonal look.
i agree with u to a certion point but then again , not necesarily , im some1 is after comic look or cubistic , art have many forms and shape , its unlimited in other words ,ur critiq is good but lacks perspective , btw all he did was cut out parts of other pictures and recolour , reshape them . i wouldnt want to admit calling that art
