When you SEC people develop a history of consistently competing with USC, then and ONLY then can you claim SC is overrated. Until then the SEC might support their cause by scheduling actual real competition for their out of conference games. I know, why don't you schedule USC? Mighty Alabama didn't do so well against Utah in 08 now did they? My opinion is the SEC is overrated.

as a Beaver fan...you were always told the story of shutting down OJ in the mud. The years with Terry Baker. And the distant memory of routing Notre Dame. In the last 3 seasons our Men in Black (orange too!) have "upset" #3 USC, #2 Cal and #1 USC...are these really UPSETS or are the Beavers just that one team in the conference who is not OVERRATED and actually plays sound football? maybe not every game but 9+ wins for 3 straight years? upsets???? hmmm....
