What a beautiful song. I just heard it recently on Jam e Jam. This "prayer" song is universal for all people of the world. Prayer is powerful. It gives us hope and continued faith. Farshid's voice is wonderful. I admire him for doing this song.

Farshid I was realy impressed by your ability to write such a song in English! You have writen mega hit songs in Farsi but it takes much more to write in English and have it be this effective. You act as if you can't do both. If I feel prayer works then why wouldn't I do it? Its the same reason everyone says pray for our troops... because in some cases you aren't in a position to do something tangible directly. Obviously they feel prayer works. The two aren't mutually exclusive.

Your timeline may be right. But since this is just as much a philosophical war as it is a physical war (with the philosophical war being more important), it will hinge on how quickly the information needed to change hearts and minds travels -- such happens much more quickly today than it did a hundred years ago, so, maybe a change of mind and heart on both sides will give the "complete" victory sooner.

By movement, by all means i dont mean something neccessarily big. But an effort that is at least somewhat unconventional, or above or outside audience expectations. Let's consider a music video by Chris de Burge and an Iranian (not -American) called Arian Band. They did, also, something unconventional in Iranian Pop music history for considering collaborations with their Western legendary counterparts.

By "move" I merely meant a political move toward election '08. With all due respect to Arian bands (which is one of my pop fav bands anyway) the intention of this SPECIFIC video has nothing to do with what Arian did with de Burge.

What is outstanding about this video is the message, not the quality of the song I would say. Farshid Amin has done better job that this before.
