It's clear that GM sold a great car under the wrong name, It should have been called a Holden.

No real Pontiac is Chevy powered or imported, as great this car is you can understand it's still not a PMD car.

@ramairgto72 well back in the 70's pontiac made its own engines , the 6.6 on the bandit was the strongest engine at the time so yea why do u think gm thought about makin pontiacs chevy powered? save a little money perhaps?

@DudeWithTheGoat I'm not arguing cost effective sense, even tho PMD and Pontiac-ish wrapped Chevys are now no longer because of this! Ask yourself if you took apart a 1972 T/A & a 1972 Camaro how many parts would make up GM Chevy & PMD? over 95% of the car is Fisher (GM) with only the engines being different (less BOP 10 bolts VS GM 10s). However after the death of PMD in 78 what you get is Chevy with Pontiac clad. The fake GTO above is not even GM! The look is Holdens idea of GTO, not GMs!
