great instructions! I found your vids through starnstv- I checked out hers as well and she really helped! I hope to soon figure out how to do a hat w/ ear flaps for my kids... All the kids are wearing these type now so that is the current goal. Currently I am working my first hat using 2 strands of Lions Homespun in Quartz mixed w/ one strand of Yarn Bee - Soft Delight Extreme in EX Brown... I already knit so the fancy yarns are generally okay to work with and I am managing well. Quick & easy

Wait, so you start with the brim before knitting the rest? If so then why did my instructions tell me to start knitting the base of the hat first and put the brim in the middle of the manual! Ugh...

@DearPitri yup thats what hes showing! the instruction might do it another way! you will just have to pick a method and go with it!

thanks for the videos! the instructions with the looms are so hard to understand. @ soccerboy19 BE NICE! , whats wrong with a guy using a knifty loom? there are lots of guys doing it , maybe you should try it it might open your eyes
