I have a 2008 kia sepctra and have 8000k hi low hids and have yet to have a problem with glare as long as headlights are aimed correctly you should not have a problem. I aimed my headlights before installing my hids and had to aim them again to make sure they would not cause glare.
please everyone...do not use any bulb over 6000...really 4100-4300 is the best. The human eye has the hardest time capturing blue color.The car munufacturers use 4100-4300 for a reason. Do a legitimate HID projector housing retrofit and have them aimed correctly. I can't stand people who do these healight retrofits with no research AT ALL. check out lightwerkz dot net or the High Intensity forums. HID in Halogen housing = blinding everyone.
Spider, thanks for the comment. FYI, I am still using the same H7 bulbs, but did have to replace the ballast. The current ballast I have is about 1yrs old. So far so good. Get the HIDs, it will look nice!
