  • Totally got teary eyed with the baby scene!!

  • QUE BELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!♥♥♥♥

  • "Sometimes two hearts were born to be together, but not stay together". This is what I think happened to Lucy and Desi.

  • @markinscottsdale Your comment is absolutely beautiful.

  • I am sterile. life has no meaning.

  • 6 dislikes dunt get it ;)

  • luv dish video!

  • Thank you so very much for sharing this with us all!!!!!!!!!

  • 6 people are braindead and/or have no heart.

  • "WE HAVE TO HURRY, SHE SAID!!" BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! XD

  • "IT'S ME!!!!" haha cute moment :)

  • awwwww

  • I MISS YOU DESI! YOU WIN MY HEART!

  • i love lucy since i was 10 now iam 31 still a fan never get tired of the show

  • One of the best shows ever made! These old Lucy shows still make me have a deep belly laugh each time I see them! She was one of a kind, ahead of her time, love the interaction between she & Desi.

  • Aww, this made me so emotional <3

  • it is so sad that they both died

  • The most beautiful moment of a real, true love story.

  • 6 ppl DISLIKE THIS WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU .,,,,,,,,,,,SICK DEGENERATE F...S.. u have no taste nor class or brains..........classic

  • 1 of my top favourite 5 of all the i love lucy shows,,,,, awww who cant relate to that WTH CANT THEY MAKE SHOWS LIKE THIS TODAY INSTEAD OR REALITY BS OR IDOL OR CAN DANCE OR ACT... I DONT NEED TO SEE THAT I WORK AT WALMART & CAN SEE IT FOR FREE,,,just give me ol time good clean stuff ,, todays shiz is just gross

  • aaww T_T one of my fav episode..

  • Lucy really liked Desi's second wife Eydie and even though I'm not sure what Desi thought of Gary they must have been at least cordial in order for Lucy and Desi to maintain a friendship. I think we all would have loved if they stayed married forever but I think it's wonderful they at least kept contact because of their children and grandchildren. Some people who divorce don't ever get past the bad times and that's sad. At least Lucy and Desi stayed friends

  • If I'm correct, Desi's last known words were "I love you, Honey." Said to Lucy as he hung up the phone.

  • @orlkmo They were talking on a phone 48 hours before his death her last words to him were "I love you. I love you. I love you, Desi" and he said "I love you too, honey. Good luck with your show."

    <3 Desilu forever <3

  • they loved each other soooooo much even though they did divorce they still loved each other so much.

  • The BEST show ever on television! Bar NONE! The entire cast is gone, now, and I can't wait untill I go so I can watch Lucy, Ricky, Fred, and Ethel FOREVER!!!

  • i wish more men would react like that when his women says shes ptrgnsngt lol. imagine if they all break out in this song? lol

  • It was obvious that until the end of their lives they both still loved each other passionately. The both married others - probably for peace and some stability in what had been a very tumultuous married life. Desi could not resist the girls who were all too available. And Lucy couldn't take the hurt of his constant cheating. It made the marriage impossible, but love isn't so easily killed off and their love remained a constant thru the rest of their lives. Divorce not withstanding.

  • Do you pop out at parties? Are you unpoopular?

  • happy birthday lucy

  • Every marriage is filled with some heartache, but theirs also had love.. and it was so sad to see them apart. Both Lucy and Desi were wonderful together, and made an era seem happier.

  • Happy 100th Birthday today Lucy!

  • I actually remember Vitametavmetvagamin! (sp?) I can't believe it.

  • Hollywood divorces don't interest me, but the divorce of Lucy and Desi was really sad.

Imagine what shows they could have kept on doing if they had stayed together.

    What if, what if ....

  • Shows how much character Desi had to talk so great about his ex wife that way.

  • This is how I want to tell my hsusband Im pregnat one day! Im 13 and just watching this video reminds me how inportant it is to wait until you married to have a baby. because Ricky is so happy and supportive, but if you get knocked up when your a teen the father will most likely NOT react this way! And if you do wait you also have friends to back you up and not judge you and be soooo happy for you like Fred and Ethel!!! I LOVE LUCY SOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!

  • @samramirez12 you are so wise . that's right wait until He Puts a Ring on it. lol take care .

  • @samramirez12

You are VERY mature and wise. You go, girl! :-))

  • I have seen that We're having a baby" episode at least once a year for the last 35 years. I'm 41 and it still touches my heart and brings me to tears. Whenever there is an "I Love Lucy" marathon on cable, I make it a point to try and watch every episode, even though I have most of them on DVD. That is a testament to the extraordinary gifts of Lucille Ball!!!

    I'll Always Love Lucy!

  • its was so funny to watch how lucy picks on rickys talking. but its so cute and adorable at the same time. and the episode with the med is i think my all time fav.. but its hard to have a fav episode cause there all so great... but lucy and ricky will always be my fav couple of all time. they are really what real love is!!

  • Lucy and Desi were soo cute(: i watch I love Lucy every morningg(:

  • Iloved Lucy and desi was a great straight mam

  • Both Lucy and Desi are performing for God now in Heaven....priceless! :)

  • @robnrick1 shoot !! I'm sorry I pressed the wrong thumb!!! lol I meant to love your comment. it is so true and I love it forever <3

  • @orhugs your very welcome.....:)

  • wow. five people are unpoopular.

  • @paysonstoneburner ha wow, good way to get views from morons u faggot

  • Vitameatavegimin>>>>my fave episode.

  • aww. I am happy they divorced, because then they were able to be closer friends, and still find true happiness with their other spouses. :)

  • Their marriage had less issues than most married couples of their day. They were both hugely famous, and for being in the spotlight all those years, they lasted longer than most 'hollywood' couples now-a-days. More power to them.

  • @SorrowfulLesson DIVORCE

was not even an option to be an option in those days.

Marriage, till death do you part

was the norm and taken literally !

  • @Seyahhsod Um....but they did get a divorce. Lucy went of an married Gary Morton, but Ricky and her stayed good friends. And they still had lingerings of love for each other even then. :)

  • @Seyahhsod

Oh I know they had their problems, and though they probably would have divorced if it was an acceptable thing back then, they were happier than a lot of the currently famous couples these days. Now, marrying in Hollywood is mostly for publicity or some other underhanded reason- Lucy and Desi married for love.

  • If you don't cry during the 'baby announcement', sequence you're not human. Although Lucy dressed in that massive shroud should certainly have been a tipoff to Ricky . . . .

  • I grew up with "I Love Lucy".... today there is no better comedy! It plays today and no one dies and no one is hurt. It pokes fun and that is what it is --- FUN!

What has happened with television comedy?

OH, RIGHT --- FOX news is the new COMEDY station and Beck, O'Riely and Palin are the new TV comedy stars!!! OOOOPS, I forgot Trump

  • I'll see you guys in heaven! Thanks for the fun, kids!!

  • The Vitameatavegamin scene was my favorite Lucy scene, and I think the main reason is because it really showcased Lucy's comedic acting abilities. It was just her and a camera, most of it was ad-libbed(Not the words but the way she said them which was 75% of the scene.)

Lucy took a script and made it her bitch.

Her legacy is the fact you can't do that scene without mentioning Lucy, doing the scene is automatically a homage to her whether you say her name or not. That's rare for a tv show now.

  • @Maserati777 True classic....Lucy did anything for a laugh...

  • :') I love those episodes that Desi mentioned. Awww I wish she was still alive.

  • Aww..such a shame that they got divorced. Really a terrible shame....

  • my moms favorite as kid growing up was I love Lucy. I know why, its a show you can laugh and cry and feel good about. I love Lucy is a show that reaches all ages and we never forget it. I love Lucy, yes I do!!!

  • I dont know why but I just started to tear up I love these guys. Theyre so awesome I grew up watching the rereuns and everything it's just so great to still be able to watch them over and over again and never get sick of them.

  • Never will there be another Lucille Ball

  • Desi never gave into those who said the type of show they wanted to do coud never be done, he proved them wrong. Desi along with Lucy put everything they owned on the line and sure deserved every praise they earned.

  • I'm only 22 but my mom loved this show and it still stands as quality COMEDY!

  • I ve watched every single episode but still laugh hard whenever i watch i love lucy :) whatever happened to quality tv shows?! Now so much junk on tv!

  • I agree....The best comedy pair ever.... Thank You to Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz for all the wonderful episodes to entertain us....Alot of laughs....

  • :)

  • I knew it'd be this episode about the baby. xD Love them so much!

  • The best ever.

  • i think he was a hot latino :)

  • @bvg83 most Latinos are

  • @bvg83 indeed he was! cute!

  • so touching; it was obvious how much they loved each other and they couldn't hide it; too bad the marriage broke up, but these things happen for reasons only the participants really know. we still owe lucy and desi a great debt for all the laughter they brought to this world, always done with the highest standards for craft, wit and truthfulness. God bless them both, and I hope they're enjoying each other again in the Happy Hunting Grounds--

  • Viteyveateeviggyvat poppin' out!

  • I love Ethel, Fred, Little Ricky, Ricky, and of course I Love Lucy! Thanks so much for the millions of laughs you've given me since I was a little boy. Love always and God Bless!

  • It's so sad because Desi loved Lucy to the day he died and she never quite got over him. She one said "He was the love of my life but I just couldn't take it anymore". Which is so true, but there getting a divorce is a tragedy but some how it was probably better because they would probably destroyed each other mentally and physically if they kept on.

  • When was this produced?

  • They may have gotten a divorce after 20 yrs...but they NEVER stopped loving each other! God Bless both of them :)

  • I don't think Desi ever got over his love of Lucy! As men we always fuck up but I know his heart always belonged to Lucy. Even though he probably hurt her so much. Until his last breath he always expressed his eternal love fo her. Rest in peace Desi and Lucy.

  • vitameatavegamin :D

  • loved them both RIP

  • @Jeannenyc57 - My sentiments exactly. Miss them :-(

  • I don't think there will EVER be another television show with such loved characters, such chemistry, or loved by so many fans around the world. You can't recreate or manufacture the magic that is I Love Lucy.

  • Love this video, just as we all love and miss Lucy. The emotion she displays is real and it gets me every time.

  • I have always loved this show.....

    and I always will...

WE LOVE AND MISS YOU LUCY.. GOD BLESS,,,

    REST IN PEACE

  • Do you pop out at parties? Are you unpoopular? Well.....are you? LOL! I love it!

  • he didnt cheat on her, they both decided it was best to divorce, they both didnt want Desi Arnaz jr and Lucie Arnaz to be stuck in the middle, they both got remarried and stayed good friends, but Vivian Vance and Bill Frawley hated eachother

  • That was real emotion between those two in the "We'e Having a Baby" scene. It must have been wonderful to be so in love and so secure and having a baby together.

  • I Never Seen this video what a great video.

  • Had the great joy of seeing this costume in person today at the Lucy-Desi Museum in Jamestown NY today. You don't know how gloriously colorful and bright these costumes were. This suit is bright blue. BRIGHT blue. Amazing. I was surprised and delighted. They do a great job in Jamestown, her hometown.

  • i love how ricky slides next to lucy when he finds out shes pregnant

  • I wish they ended up ok... They were such a beautiful couple!! :(

  • There were times when he had to work hard not to smile when Lucy was giving her lines. I once heard her mention her "husband" in an interview, not EX-husband. I feel that Lucy and Desi loved each other very much. I marveled at the same thing when Tony Curtis spoke of Janet Leigh as his wife, years after their divorce. These people had soul mates they just couldn't live with.

  • remember when people had to be legitimately talented to become well known? Nowadays most comedians just seem to recycle awkward sex jokes and the radio is filled with people who can't sing or play instruments but can process their voice through auto-tune

  • I'm so glad I found it this. Thank you. I posted it to my friends on myspace so the younger generation can understand what a true star is.

    blessings,

    Annushka

  • A great warm person? She was an incredibly talented, hugely funny performer, but she was also a tremendous egotist. You can tell watching The Lucy Show when she took full reign of the behind the scenes. From that time on she became less and less funny. She NEEDED Desi running things beyond the camera and to keep her on a leash.

  • This video is amazing. It is just incredible. A real touch of the past. Jonahpasion you are too serious. Ease up a bit. Its in the past. They made great comedy and great laughter. Who cares about the downsides, with lucy and desi it was always the up. Cheers

  • I thought he died before her... Desi: 1986 and Lucy 1989?

Is this just a retrospective from him?

  • She was so good.

  • The Having My Baby episode was probably the most touching as it was so real for them. I miss the show and wish it would be brought back to TV! If anyone knows a site to watch full episodes free, please let me know!

  • Sharing is Caring!!!

Look what I found. I finally found a site that shows all her

episodes in full length and best of all all for FREE.

    ILoveLucyEpisodes. ( c o m )

  • I finally found a website where I can watch all her episodes in full length.

    ILoveLucyEpisodes. [ c o m ]

  • I understand when he discovers he is to be a father and singing to Lucy, she really is crying and not acting. It was such a moving moment for them both.

  • This was an awesome video if you want to see the story of Desi Arnaz you should watch some clips it shows how luci fought to get the movie I love Lucy and said that she wouldn't start in it if Desi wasn't staring in it they didn't want to they said a Cuban with a accent it wont work but it sure did they really loved each other!

  • Lucy Does a TV Commercial= so much better than Job Switching!

  • Lucille Ball: every time u watch her she lightens up your heart as if she is right in your home even though she is gone now she is one of the best comedians that ever lived we know heaven is full of laughfter because lucy is there god bless

  • Desi's accent never changed. Love every minute of them together.

  • The World all over...different generations will Always Love Lucy...she will be missed deeply

  • Desi and Lucy always <3 They were meant to be even though it didn't work out, in alot of interviews it seems they still missed each other some times. One of the best couples of all time.

  • They were perfect for each other, they never fell out of love I think even after they each got remarried they never stopped caring about each other.

  • Lucille Ball- in my mind among the greatest artists of the 20th century. She's in a group along w/ The Beatles,Elvis, Sinatra, Hepburn, Armstrong, Streep, ect.

  • Notice he sang the wrong line when singing rock a bye baby?

  • i have stood right where he was standing!!

  • This is the best!!!!!!!!!! No other video like this one. I love it.

  • ahhh *sigh*

  • Yea they did have respect for eachbothe they still talk even when there were divorced at least twice a week. That shows they still loved each other. Like Ricky said "I Love Lucy".

  • Even though the marriage didn't work out, they always hd great respect for each other.

  • i love this

  • That was so beautiful! i love Desi's speeches in this video! he was amazing! thanks for uploading!

  • Thanks for sharing this. I really loved it!!!!!!

  • Its good that there's a film about those great Actors & Actresses that they can be remembered always & would not be forgotten.our great, great grandchildren would have the chance to see those wonderful people of our times. RIP

  • Si they were married, US Favorite couple! I remember when i came to US i was browsing through channels and went across I LOVE LUCY on TVLand. since that day watching Lucy doing the Vitaminabegimen commercial my love was set for them. may god have them both together in peace and also send us real talented comedians to us here on earth. Thank you Lucille, Gracias Ricky!

  • I'D BET LUCY & DESI ARE HAVING A BLAST LAUGHING IN HEAVEN TOGETHER.

MAYBE THEIR MARRIAGE HAD ISSUES, THATS NOT MY CALL, I LOVED THEM BOTH, ALWAYS WILL.

    -annabella

  • my absolute favorite episode is when she finds out she's pregnant. so beautiful. so funny. so touching. just wonderful.

    "hey!! ...wait for me!!" hahahaha!!

  • PLease go to the clip from the Kennedy Center Honors in 1986. Desi's heartmoving letter to her which Robert Stack read. This was a few days after he passed away. Lucy, the consumate Professional held it together in Great style. If that tribute doesn't bring you to tears nothing will. :) God Bless You Lucy

  • WAAAA I MISS THESES PPLZ T_T but im always PROUD THAT IM CUBAN <3 I MIZZ THEM WISH I CUD OF MEET THEM BOTH WAAAA DX!!!! but im only 12 wearz old :(

  • weren't they together in real life?

  • @cubanita1101 Yes they were married for twenty years ! Even after the divorce they remained friends! Desi & Luci Awesome two! Lucy I'm home!!!

  • @lilyfoxylady Yes i found that out later on haha i even read her book :) now im going to read his <3 im so excited :D

  • The best comedy pair EVER. The best show EVER.

  • I heard the same thing, she sure was talented.

  • One of the few best classic shows!! I always wished I could meet them!

  • Long Live Lucy and Desi. We love em always.

  • You can clearly see in this video that Desi never stopped loving and respecting Lucy. The way he talks about her in this video, going so far as to say that sometimes he almost forgot his lines when she was performing, is very sweet and admiring.

  • he always loved her, and I love that episode too. Just sad he was a philanderer.

  • whats a philanderer??

  • Someone who fools around with alot of women.

  • Comment removed

  • What a great show I Love Lucy was and still is...all these years later and it's never lost its touch. All four main charachters were cast perfectly!

  • They sure loved each other...

  • i remember seeing him do this along time ago, nice clip, thanks for posting

  • That was a wonderfull gift for them, what a way from Lucille to say to Desi that the baby is coming.. I wish their love would have last for ever...

  • it did, they loved each other till the day they died, even though they were divorced

  • I love lucy!

  • 2:56 to 3:00 is the best part!!! XDD

  • they were just beautiful together.

  • I cannot believe that William Frawley (Fred) was born in 1887! He must have helped George Washington find his wooden teeth. (They weren't wooden) Vivian Vance was born in 1909 and Lucy in 1911. (No wonder Viv did not really want to play husband and wife with William.) Desi was born in 1917!!! Whew! Who woulda thunk?

  • He could have if George Washington was almost 200 years old... he died before the 1800's can't remember the exact year. (1790 something)

  • That Vitameatavegamin skit just blows me away every time. No one in the world compares to Lucy. She wasn't just a brilliant actor, she was so ahead of her time she gave women everywhere hope that they could achieve the pinnacle of power in Hollywood. Sherry Lansing, Kathleen Turner and Penny Marshall all owe her a huge debt for breaking down those walls.

  • Lucy is and will ALWAYS be the best comedian ever.

  • @Nightshada2 Sorry... comedienne.

  • I miss Lucy, she's my favorite comedian.

  • If you were born in 1982 like I was, we are in the same boat. I was 7 when she passed, and I was the saddest little first grader on the planet. I sure miss her, too.

  • This was quite revealing!! We thought we had seen all of the Exposes. Ricky explained these on and off camera stories with Class:-}

  • When Lucy broke the news to Ricky on the show, I cried... that was so sweet! I miss Desi! He's just so amazing<3

  • So sad! :[

  • honestly, this makes me cry... i love this show!

  • Desi never gave himself enough credit without him there never would have been a seinfeld or friends

  • I don't mind giving Desi some credit for "Seinfeld" but please don't blame him for "Friends"! Bleech!

  • yeah I hated friends but nevertheless it was popular

  • i do miss these wonderful ppl Desi Arnaz is my Hero i miss him with all my heart i wish i could of knew him you know but im 12 and he died along time ago. What's great is Im from the same place and we have the same birthday except i was born in 1997 and he waz born in 1917 So you can say were pretty far apart. I Will mizz that guy R.I.P Desi Arnaz

  • she was a GREAT WARM PERSON and you CHEATED ON HER!!!! BOO!

  • Well, Desi is not the only one to blame. Sure he did bad things, but Lucy was stubborn and an workaholic. Lucy had as much problems as Desi. You have to remember that its never only one's fault.

    Love,

    Amanda ;-D

  • Never, say never. :-) Love Jonah Pasion

  • @amanda0205078 Lucy was a pioneer in women's liberation and she worked alot because she could! Many women weren't allowed to work back than and she decided to put herself in her work also because she did have such problems with Desi and it was so she didn't have to deal with it. Unlike him who an alcoholic she had four miscarriges before she had Lucie and Desi Jr. Lucy was and is amazing!! She also worked pregnant, she was the first woman to EVER be pregnant on television!!

  • @amanda0205078 he was a womanizer before the nuptials. it's her fault for marrying him.

  • @amanda0205078 I agree with you, sometimes people cheat for no reason 95% of the time one spouses infidelity is the direct effect of the other spouses neglect towards them. Either way I miss them both, I cried the days they both died and the ONLY time I ever saw my father cry was when Lucy passed. When he came to Italy he had to stay in detainment for 3 months and he said that whole time the only thing that kept him happy was seeing I love lucy on a small B/W TV. They were both amazing people:)

  • @amanda0205078 there is never a good reason to cheat on your husband of wife.

  • @amanda0205078 i have to agree with you on that, like they say it takes two to cheat
