could u see prince william (who does not even wear a wedding ring mind u)allowing some little commonor dictating the terms of a marriage to him???...yea right....someone who is born and raised a prince and considered royalty has a sense of entitlement and views the rest of the world as beneath him...there is no way they would elect to take a bride in name only....just would nvr happen
@beepollen1 Oh, I see. Still must have been something to see someone from the show, though. I certainly am enjoying it and it's been fun to discussing it :)
@beepollen1 That must have been exciting. I couldn't imagine being around at the time "Dynasty" was at its peak! (I wasn't born until '87 and just starting watching it last year lol).
@beepollen1 It's been almost a year since I've watched, but from what I remember Alexis very much encouraged her and I think in some way, Prince Michael was Amanda's "second choice" in that she knew he was a catch and she went ahead, but for all the wrong reasons. I think she did care for him on some level, but then the show kept him on for as long as they did until they made a decision to do something otherwise.
Making him a sometime commando was a mistake, though. There's no way he and Steven should have been so evenly matched when they had their dogfight earlier in the season if he's combat-trained.
This Prince Michael has the sex appeal of a bag of rocks! He's such a prissy little douchebag. I'd love to see Dex bitchslap him and then come to his senses about Alexis. Why on earth is he in love with her?
The earlier Claudia was a wonderful combination of strength and craziness. She had an earthiness, middle class sensibility and an instability that is fertile ground for soaps. By season 5, Claudia had descended into a mink-wearing, lions' mane shadow of her former self. Claudia was always the conscience of the show - when she became 'one' of the Carringtons with all the trappings, her character lost the essence of the outsider looking in - the quality audiences relate to.
Strange that a man of Michael's age needs reading glasses.

@beepollen1 Oh, and maybe she was hoping that over time she would start to really love him.

@beepollen1 I never really liked Dex, as a character or otherwise. But I got used to his presence I guess, and am sort of neutral at times.

Prince Michael kind of looks like Adam and Dex put together. Especially at 3:15.

I think Michael is after the wrong Carrington, seems to me he'd be happier with Steven.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not gay; I'm just an avid fag-lover.

Fuck God. From what the old testament has to say about him he sounds like a real ass hole.

Did they use a soft focus on Linda Evans? She always seems so dream-like in her shots when compared to others she shares scenes with.
