Looks like the selection at my local Kroger's. Had to drive 40 miles both ways to do my Passover matzah... and just about everything else for Passover. Which is funny because I can get kosher chicken and beef and cheeses at my local store. But nothing for Passover. No Sour Sticks, though.
But given the small Jewish community in Santa Cruz, and how many holes are on those shelves, I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest maybe they had simply sold their Passover stock? (Sorry to be so serious.)
WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO MAKE MATZOT WITH CHAMETZ????? It tastes like cardboard anyway why on EARTH would someone want to eat it for anything other than pesach lol

In the non-Jewish areas I have lived, I see all sorts of matzah, but none of it is kosher for Passover. I think you have to shop in a frum area to get the goods
I actually make my living Matzah scalping on Pesach--I go around to all the stores and buy out their stock, then walk around in the Eruv selling it at a 200pct mark-up.
@ElderOfTzion where I come from we take care of jokers like you...quietly but effectively. You might want to use some of those profits for, say, an insurance policy! :-)
@ElderOfTzion it is SO true! After commenting I realized I should not use the term "joker" as a pejorative directly under Heshy's clip. He might take it the wrong way, and I my age I'm sure he could take me in two out of three falls. LOL
LOL. He's a quick thinker, I am sure he would understand that you calling me a 'joker' is an extreme euphemism. Rather, considering the words you may have used to aptly and clearly define me, he should consider you the embodiment of ahavas chesed.
It's like that everywhere Heshy. You do have to get it kind of early because people snatch it up. Where I live, which is on the east coast.. my goodness all the Kosher le Pesach matzah was gone early as HECK! I make my own matzah from scratch but I like to have extra already made boxes as back up. You have got to snatch them up early, man! Be prepared! :)

So, "quietly but effectively," that's the 2nd level of tzedakah, right? That's like Mossad tzedakah. Chag Someach :)

I wonder what your Shidduch video would look like if you told the Shadchan you worked as a Matzah scalper lol! That would be hilarious.
