@smaira1 - Well that's where you are wrong! You see I actually do have some idea of karate. 42 years of studying Shotokan karate, winning numerous national kumite & kata titles and representing my country at 2 world championships (one as the captain) and then becoming national coach as well as living in Japan and travelling the world to further my karate studies. I'd say that qualifies me to express an opinion on the subject.
