after l died, i thought it was boring. when L was alive, there was so much unexpected twists in all the episodes cause they all involved him n kira, and the tension of who knows eachothers identity first. Ahhh that was such a great series. Sadly it only had 37 episodes, making me feel how the hell naruto has around 300. i wished there was atleast 50 or even more episodes to death note, it was the probably one of the first anime series that got me REALLY interested in it.
