  • Her therapies work best as preventive measures. IOW, they are ineffective on people with bad vision and "work" on people with good vision since their vision seems to stay good. She's nuts!

  • glasses dosent do anthing.and they make me sound dumb (im ADD and dyslexia)

  • 1.40 "i myself was dyslexic " oh what so she cured herself bull shitin cow

  • Thanks for posting this video it was very informative.

  • This vision therapy seems like it's for people who were "misdiagnosed" with ADD. How is it going to help someone with ADD who also has difficulty "listening" to directions?

  • my doctor gave me meds for my adhd and dyslexia... but i took myself off them in hs... i didnt want to have to depend on them.. but i still have trouble in school.. i cant pay attention.. i watch ppl talk and have no idea wat anybody says.... will i ever grow out of this?? lol even though i'm 20 lol

  • I will reverse numbers. I mean I can read a book ok even though I don't read alot. just reverse numbers sometimes.

  • christopher711. dyslexia is a reading disability(hate saying that word). thats why you can read a book ok, however you say you reverse numbers, although it can be dyslexia you might wanna check out dyscalculia. its like dyslexia but with numbers

  • Good Video. Learned some great things about brain behaviors.

  • why are you saying "dyslexics" and "I am/was a dyslexic"?

    Say People WITH dyslexia...

People are people first, they are not defined by disorders.

  • These labels give people jobs without helping the subject in any way at all. As a dyslexic I was told to read more and practice and check my work, love my dictionary and failing which just write the word the way it felt and the teacher would figure it out and help me memorize it. I am a post grad now, not cured at all and still taking longer to read. I dont think the kink in my brain could ever go away. I have astigmatism as well...

  • Dr. Charlene is hot!

  • einstein was dyslexik

    waht treatment did he had?

    henry ford was a dyslexik

    or on dr titel lottorie

but you are right kids on ritalin are not funny

  • i m soory for the lottorie 200g of fish a day?

  • ADD and ADHD are false. I have been working with kids who have been labeled (diagnosed) with these two things for 6 years. There is really nothing wrong with these kids. 99% of the time kids are labeled within the school environment. The militaristic public school environment is the most unnatural learning environment in existence. So bright, brave, creative, energetic, imaginative children are labeled because they don't thrive within the institutional confines of militaristic schooling.

  • One good reason why my kids are educated at home.

  • Hey there Truthbandit...am fed up with the public school system my children are in,was interested in home schooling. Could you please give me a quick briefing on what is involved/how to get started...would be gratefull..=)

  • Also kids eat all sorts of junk nowadays with artifial food coloring and flavors which screw up their brains.

  • how do you work with them?

  • my eye site isent bad but am dyslecsic?

  • hahahahaha g ood job!!!!!!!!!

  • What they fail to mention is that a lot of ADHD in kids is misdiagnosed. Just because a kid is "wild" and "out of control" doesn't mean that they have ADD. Often times they simply have never been properly and consistently disciplined. children need equal amounts of love and discipline, but too many parents take the easy way by giving the kid what they want so they'll shut up. So then the kid doesn't know where his boundaries are and is constantly searching for them to find order in life.

  • While I have a hard time believing that most vision problems are a form of stress, most of what this lady said makes sense scientifically. The brain is very flexible and can be re-trained to work differently. Over time, by making it do things differently, it actually rewires itself, by creating new neural pathways.

  • A lot of things were considered "quackery" until they were proven. I say, don't try to discredit something if you haven't tried it, and can't offer scientific proof that it's invalid. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't be skeptical. Experiencing something for yourself is believing. When your experiences of traditional medicine have failed you, or merely offer a way to hide the symptoms temporarily, it is wise to try any other alternative therapies that make at least some sense.

  • I was one of the first ADD kids in the early 70's, I have a scare on my retina from birth and so only see from one eye. I went to a Developmental Optometrist, which was brand new and called quackery BTW even back then, got my lazy eye handled, got depth perception handled, which had a huge calming effect on me and it was very helpful. I could focus better after all the work. Much of it was basically retraining the eyes. It's not that hard of a concept to grasp. A real solution.

  • Thanks

  • A couple videos ago i was bashing holistic and natural medicine alternatives. I have become a raw vegan and my depression and ADHD is all gone, and am losing a lot of weight.

  • .... tell us whats wrong with her information.

  • Actually, there is something to the idea that visual problems are caused by stress. One of my college professors used a method based on that, and doesn't need glasses or contacts anymore. I haven't ever gotten entirely off my glasses, but it does help.

    Homeopathy, however, is unabashedly ridiculous.

  • Are you taking about pinhole glasses?

  • I don't know a thing about pin-hole glasses. Theoretically, they could work.

The eye is a muscle, and just like any other muscle, can be trained to work better. So if pin-hole glasses do that, they could be beneficial.

  • The eye is actually an organ, but yes, muscles controls it.

  • Oops, that's right.

  • um no. mental retardation is a type of learning problem but taht specific one is not directly LIKED to a vision problem. learning problems can CAUSE vision problems. try to think things through before u comment.

  • "All eyesight or vision problems is a form of stored stress"

    That's not correct

"Changes in vision, blurriness, blind spots, halos around lights, or dimness of vision should always be evaluated by a medical professional. Such changes may represent an eye disease, aging, eye injury, or a condition like diabetes that affects many organs in your body."

Google "Vision impairment; Impaired vision" to read more

  • Remember to read that disclaimer, even Microsoft has a disclaimer. There is liability; as a result of, alternative-medicine.

  • i think your right i watch alot of house lol 'all eyesight'' is too big of a statement maybe eye disease and such things cause eye stress but eye stress is not always the root cause

  • I honestly wonder if this actually really works...

  • JK!!!!!!!!!!! YOU WERE THE FIRST TO WATCH:) bUT i WAS THE FIRST TO COMMENT BY SAYING i AM THE FIRST:p lol

  • well i personally dont think adhd exists. but good that u have these solutions instead of drugs. i hate it when parents drug their kids.
