  • I just love how his guitar is familiar to him, He doesn't even look at it and plays solos without even a single mistake. Actually i have never heard a mistake by him. Or only mistake he made was stepping in that helicopter ._.

  • An instruments use is to express something, right?

So what you hear when Stevie goes at it, is his exact state of mind in that particular moment.

A lot of musicians today seem to forget that.

So I believe that it does'nt matter which instrument you play, as long as you have the talent to use it.

Talent to use it as a gateway, something that connects you to others.

Today it's not about connecting through the music, it's all marketing and mass production.

  • @Guddis123 Yeah that means most of "musicians" today always think about Bitches and hoes.

  • @MrCannibal100 Haha, yeah, you're right.

  • @Guddis123 ignorance buddy just because you dont like todays music doesnt mean you have to bash it

  • @NewZealandBoi11 Hmm. Very well, I'll hear you out.

  • @NewZealandBoi11 I believe ignorance is the main reason wars are fought today. So if you have something to say, say it and I'll listen. If it makes sense, I'll even change my view. But if your goal was just to bash me, then I'm sorry I provoked you.

  • god damn what an artist the stage presence the style and swag and my god the playing id give anything to rip that good

  • And if the Little Lamb had Mary?

  • @LorenzoBaudelaire The song Mary had a little lamb is about Jesus.... careful!

  • @Pamelina11 And?

  • @NemoCloud AND.... have some respect! Do I really need to explain that comment?

  • @Pamelina11 Everyone has his beliefs ;) What if my belief was that actually Mary was the lamb and the lamb was Mary? Then everything would be okay for me in this message, but you and SRW would be disrespectful.

What I mean is: chill out. If something someone writes disturbs you, well, it's not a problem for everyone, just for you, since not everybody believes in the things you believe in. If you see a message like this, just let it go. Answering just leads ultimately to an argument.

    Peace :)

  • @NemoCloud The interesting thing here is that Christianity is always attacked. Non believers never make crude disrepectful remarks about other religions or "gods'. It's hurtful to believers & I'm going to defend. It's about mutual respect. Just because someone doesn't believer doesn't mean they have to show disrepect to others. Opinions are OK.. I'm just sick of the language that people think is acceptable on the web. The lack of faith in the world is over exposed! Just saying...

  • Comment removed

  • You started saying to (forgot his name) that he has not to say such things. You could have known, intelligent as you are, that answering was leading nowhere, and that in the end you would be defending yourself as the poor christian victim, which is pretty pathetic (pathetic in the original meaning "pathos").

Sorry for being so crude, but I mean: what he was saying was not a direct agression of your religion, only obviously a lack of knowledge.

  • @Pamelina11

By always reacting in this kinds of situations (lack of knowledge of this guy), you just show off that actually, yes, you show that your belief has to be the reference belief i this world, which is still some kind of intolerance.

But yes, apart of your intervention: I DO agree with you on the fact that beliefs are too often criticised. If someone said directly : "And if Jesus fucked Mary in the arse?" then it would be obvious intolerance and not acceptable.

  • @NemoCloud There is NO lack of knowledge. He didn't write the song idiot! It was a vile comment, not the words of the song! You're a disgusting fucking pig that hates hmself so fuck yourself in the ass loser!

  • @Pamelina11

I don't know who you are talking about, but I was talking about the guy who wrote "and if the lamb had mary?".

Why the hell do you insult me like this? You're definitely not helping with the "It's about mutual respect" thing just here. Just bloody contradiction.

Pretending yourself to be the spokesperson of tolerance before just makes your last sentence look like actually YOU hate or/and can't bare yourself and try to repress it by insulting other people.

  • @NemoCloud I'm sorry, did I say I as tolerant? It's not even a comment that should have been repeated.

  • his brother jimmy was better...........on the accordian.

  • SRV has the best rythym, groove sound weither it's his lead and, or rythym with lead fills. Any performance he did was awesome for his and our time. To me millions of people is kinda of a low number considering how many people listened to him play,....concert, T.V. radio, etc. Thanks 4 the upload.

  • was this at the time he was off the drugs or during?

  • @patpat765 on them. he sobered up just before he died.

  • @sakowihe75 And it's a damn shame.

  • @patpat765 the El Mocambo concert was indeed during active addiction..

  • 58 people have no clue about The Blues.

  • @Chuck65201 they are simply little lambs...

  • @patpat765 Buddy Guy first

  • Is this a cover?

  • @Yldcatz nope this is the real deal.

  • Justin B can eat crap and die. This guy was a God!!!!

  • Best goddam blues guitarist ever , nuff said ;)

  • Wish he was alive so JB could teach him a little something

  • @gabeaze Must be troll.

  • @gabeaze Must be troll.

  • @gabeaze imagine him and JB doing a guitar "battle" on stage

  • @gabeaze I dont think jack black could teach SRV something cool. Jack B is awsome too

  • @gabeaze You're not putting Jack Black in the same sentence as Stevie Ray and being serious are you?

  • @fatstrat6969 @jpturbo98 @MrMortenST @vrzAo I was talkin 'bout Jeff Buckley guys

  • all hail the king!!!

  • @ICSVortex08

    Nope.

    Kneel to zi godt!

  • 58 assholes.... this dude is Godly !!!!

  • @NeoGeofanatic Why focus on the 58 when there's almost 3,000 of us? Personally tho... I like his performance of this in Austin better. Check that one out, Reese Wynan's solo is bomb too!

  • SRV is awesome !! How can 58 people dislike this video ??????????

  • this is the best song how had fleece as black as coal

  • It's my pleasure to listen such as nice song.

  • eargasm.

  • Fantastic! He was a guitar hero!

  • This is the video that turned me on to

SRV. i love it. It has opened doors for me to the world of blues.

  • This is the video that turned me on to SRV. I love it. It introduced me to the blues.

  • I am sick and tired to see Justin Bieber's coments everywhere in youtube

I mean, if a come to a SRV's video, the last thing i expect to talk about is justin biiber this or that....

  • @GiovaneFugazza10 damn straight, Giovane............

  • @GiovaneFugazza10 Funny that when you say that, your comment gets liked, and that hence the person you are talking about gets to have the best place on this page... A bit contraductory isn't it? :P

It is nothing against you (really), but could you please delete your message so that JB hasn't got this perticular place on this page? Thx

    Peace'

  • @GiovaneFugazza10 but your coment is about him)

  • Eureka!

  • This is the First ever recorded song in the world. It's recorded in UK in ( i am not exactly sure which year ) 188... on phonograph - the old machine invented by Thomas Alva Edison. It's not known whose theme is it, but it's was mentioned during Shakespeare.

  • Wow / the late great Stevie Ray Vaughn / I guess its like they say if you have a great Talent such a Stevie /(Guitarist) it doesn't matter what you play sing draw write or say / when you got it you got it/ Prime example / Mary Had a little Lamb / nursery rhyme rock and roll colored in blues! MermaidPrincess9

  • Stevie Ray Vaughan doesn't play music. Music plays Stevie Ray Vaughan.

  • He makes it look so easy to be that good. maybe that is why he did not rank as high as he should have as a guitarist in The Rolling Stone mag?

actually, as a musician , I believe he is the best.

  • @Mrdianalynn abolutely ! he made it look so easy it was amazing !

  • Stevie doesn't play music, he IS the music.

  • I can still remember first time watching this, I had no clue who SRV is, but after about 30 SECONDS!!! my mind was blown, that riff, that SOUND, the class of this guy, when i listened to metallica/GNR (still gr8 groups tho) i never heard something like this... and dont mind those 58 ppl, they obviously thought that it´s a download button.

  • I was born the same day than him !

  • Comment removed

  • This man was possessed

  • i like the way he plays. i mean his right hand

  • srv, for me, the greatest guitar play ever!!!!!!!

  • Stevie took ole Mary to another level of coolness she'd never knew before! LMAO

  • be sure to watch texas flood from this same concert... i had to pick my brain up off the floor afterwards

    search "texas flood (long version)"

  • SRV is the greatest guitarist ever!

  • If you cut the dicks off the 58 morons who dislike this vid you wouldn't have enough meat to spread on a bite size pizza !!!

  • Totally Deadly !!! Best Ever !!!

  • Honestly, it takes a special kind of asshole to dislike, fucking pisses me off.

  • Proof that SRV could take any song and make it bloody awesome.

  • Stevie was Jimi Hendrixes only true successer!

  • R.I.P Stevie. Love you man

  • молодец! Хорошая музыка.

  • Отличная музыка! Отличный музыкант! Славяне, я что один кому это нравится? landloader, thank you very much.

  • @jofartknocker Of course, but there's only one problem, Justin Bieber was not born is 1990...

  • All the SRV fans need to form a Leauge Against Helicopters! When SRV crashed they should have outlawed helicopters. They made us loose a national treasure.

  • Only SRV could take a nursey rhyme and turn it into a rock song

  • @lildougalld Buddy Guy did this before, to say nothing of different 'less rock' versions recorded way before that

  • PSPreviewman yes you did want to see Stevie. I was fortunate enough to see him 5 different shows. Lived in austin During his reign of terror. Amazing is all i can say. The guy channeled music. Spoke with his hands. Rest in Peace Stevie Ray.

  • Gotta love SRV.

  • The Bieber jokes are obviously not funny anymore. so stop.

  • Well I guess god wanted some good music up there and took Stevie...

It's a shame we can't listen to him live anymore...

  • I saw Stevie 4 times, and I would have seen him 4 more if I could have. All I can say is the man was truly amazing. I've seen some of the greats including Page, Clapton, Randy Rhoads, Robin Trower and on and on. But my man Stevie ranked right there at the top of all these guys to me. The world truly lost a great man and a legend on that fateful August night. When I heard the news I felt like I got kicked in the stomach, almost like losing a family member. RIP Stevie. God needed a Bluesman

  • I saw him exactly one year before he died, playing in Dallas at the state fair, and he was amazing. Could not believe it when he was killed. Drove around for hours.

  • it sounds like a mix between Scuttle Buttin and Telephone Song

  • I was there for this show

  • @CrankyOldBastard1 you're one lucky crankyoldbastard!!!

  • @keyrabuns69 Thanks I was under age at the time but the doorman could not read military ID

  • 1:17 is possibly the best single note ever... a warning sign for some true shreddage about to take place

  • @garfunkledev it sounds like a climax before an orgasm..

(Try to get that (-; )

  • only SRV can take a nursery rhyme and make it fucking jam

  • @rocker4u123 well, it's not his song, it's actually buddy guy's song

  • there is one of his songs that sounds just like this but i can't remember name of it.. can someone help me? :)

  • yeah!!

  • Think he was "tuned" up? I love SRV, safe to say he was flyn high on this night....

  • 55 BIEBER fans ???

  • i love stevie but i like johhny winter better

  • wow...

    FANTASTIC!!

    Stevie Forever!!!

  • Music went down since kurt shot himself and britney rose to the top... and that EXCACTLY the same basic pop build-up that since that time got created is being used today is such a.. waste and shame. (Btw, exceptians are made, Michal J. really was an good artist with excellent musical knowledge) Think we'll need the matter in our own hands. See u in 10 years when i'm taking the blues back on stage ;P!! peace

  • to 757bnasty

    I wish I was you

    To have seen him live.......

  • Just think what rock and roll would be like ........un fuckin believable ...

  • I can't believe that FU*KED Justin Bitcher have more views than SRV, Rory Gallagher and lots of good old musicians..

  • @LynxX996 Man music today is completely screwed up. I like some of the artists but a lot of it is simply garbage.Nowadays anybody can get a record deal, and you don't even have to play an instrument or sing. You can lip sync or rap and scratch on a turntable and make millions. I think image today means more than actual talent. The record execs sell you an image, your imagination does the rest.

  • Funkiest track. Thanks.

  • I was lucky enough to see him play, memorable.

  • god make a mistake he took justin bieber the crap instead of SRV

  • god would rather listen to biggie and stevie ray vaughn which is why they are there and we are left with beiber to torture us here in hell

  • 54 people don't know what music is
