Tommy was so cool, Cortez was who I wanted as my dad! I wish I could party at the Malibu club and walk around Starfish Island. I still love this game.

I hear you but every last GTA has been a rags-to-riches tale. That's kind of becoming a small problem. That said....GTA IV was still mindblowing. They just need to find some way to interrupt the monotony. They need to explore Luis Lopez more, the only story that felt even remotely lateral in the player's ultimate destiny.

@JPhinfan86: I agree with you about Luis. I thought Luis was the most non-contradictactory protagonist yet. Unlike the others with their 'moral's like CJ was anti-drugs, yet he's a stone cold killer too. It's not a complex character thing either - it's just holes in the character. About GTA IV, that's more of a 'rags to slightly better rags' story as Rockstar put it. I want a greaty monetary system where I can earn and spend a lot of cash. Like San Andreas. Casinos, betting shops etc. :)

Well this is absolutely nothing about Fable's (I, II and III) property purchase/rent system that killed the in-game action or story. GTA V should heavily consider the option to purchase property to be used beyond basic hideouts. Rent or even turn into business, we're in the next-generation and these things are no longer deemed absurd features. Nothing needs to be too in-depth either, there is a solid middle ground from Tycoon-games to the no-input Kaufman Cabs in VC.

@sala206 Why? Because you suck at it or because you've never played it? Let me tell you something - GTA III is the first game of the "sandbox" style games. If it wasn't for it, there would be no Vice City, San Andreas... and the other games of the series, neither True Crime or the rest of the GTA clones. The game world would be very boring without them, trust me. GTA III is a pure classic. It's almost the same as VC with a few differences like the bikes, airplanes and some "extras".

I know this is your opinion and I respect it, but it's really stupid to judge a game by its "extras" compared to an old one and even call it with names. What is so better about VC? GTA III had a really great story, a great character, and the weapons and cars weren't that bad either. For me III and VC are 50/ 50. As a long time fan I can say that they're equal, and I really prefer both of them to San Andreas or IV.

Extras make the game more fun, i mean Gta Vice City introduced Helicopters, Buyable properties, Motorcycles, Assets and it was set in the 80's man how could you go wrong with that? :) and many other things which made it more funner then Gta 3 , and i fail to see how Claude is a great character. The dude doesn't even talk, he just takes orders and does them as for the other things you listed, sure i can agree with that.
