  • SOAB!!

  • What idiots would allow racing to go ahead in those conditions? Horrible accident. Racing should not be allowed on water logged crap US and RSA tracks. Cruel. I would never go to watch it.

  • see. this is why i'm sticking to my jumper courses.

  • Omygod. Anyone who thinks this is funny.. Cruel just cruel

  • fuck u horse racing bussiness

  • the thing is people force the horses to move if they stopped horse racing more peps will be alive and horses to pepople just want 2 be entertanied but not by killing an inncocent creature

  • @Misshorseylover200 First off, nice spelling and grammar. Second off, if horseracing was stopped more horses would end up in slaughter houses and in abusive homes. Third off, horses aren't forced to do this, they do this because they love it.

  • the jockey shouldve died, the producer of this race shouldve died!

  • HOLY * BEEP *

  • It's an accident. Accidents happen.Watch more of the full story on Animal Planet's website for their show Untamed and Uncut. You can google search Untamed and Uncut Horse Collision and it should take you straight to it. There's a lot more info there than in this one minute clip.

  • poor horses. I dunno how people can find this funny.

  • OMG!! Omg! Poor horses! Thats just soo sad... omg.... poor horses... :'(

  • this was really sad.

i saw this show on tv both the horses died on impact and the jockey had severe brain damage.

  • nice

  • OMG poor horse omg i hate derby

  • I didn't even finish watching this video, yes, por horses and poor fellows riding, although this was an accident, not intentional I agree: I also hate this sport.

  • @chinchonchinchon AMEN!!!!! racing is cruel! There is a 19 year old retired race horse at my barn and he is so phisically messed up from racing!!

  • @horsiechicaroo16

Did you rescue him? Poor horse. :-( The happy part is that he is in good hands.

  • @chinchonchinchon Yeah he's gotten better. He's hard to take care of because he has so many problems but he's an angel when you ride him!

  • fuck

  • omg!:(

  • this is why i thing racing is so fucked up

  • oh my god! At least the horses died on impact and didn't suffer.

  • Thats so sad! awg gah!

  • poor horses :(

it must of been so painfull :(

  • it says at the end that as the other racers gallop on it leaves the 2 horses dead D: and the rider laying lifless but she does survive poor horses :'( x

  • @myridinglife yeah she survives and nearly fully recovers

  • omg the horses died this is awful i realy dont like horse racing :'( this just makes it worse

  • :O o m g poor horses! i love horse soo much this is very sad i love going to races but i cry imediatly when the horse even trips and doesnt fall but this wow

  • OMFGG! Okayy, well I feel bad for them breanna is right (butterscotch567) it is sad :[

  • OH MY GAWD!!!!! This is so not funny.... its saddddd.

  • The horses died on impact according to the announcer. Not sure about the jockey though.

  • she lives, but whats unfair is both of those beautiful animals die becuase that DA jockey wanted to be a fuckass

  • How can anybody watch this and not feel pity for these poor animals. The jockey chose to be on the track, the poor animals don't have that option. Anybody that would think this is funny, has to be pretty mentally ill and is to be pitied.

  • :( :'(

    This isnt funny

  • wow how do some of you think this is funny?! Its life threatening...thats really sad!

  • Your dumb as fuck, you peice of shit!

  • wow this is so sad. i dont know hwy someone would be so rude and laugh at this

  • rofl

  • How is it so funny, idiot

  • oo fuck it that must of killed maan!

    ouch!

  • stupid people

  • omg them poor horses ::::::::::::(

  • Why anyone would find this funny is beyond me. I can't believe any sane person would laugh at this.

I am also staggered that a race meet would be run in conditions like this. That meet would've been abandoned where I'm from.

Stupid decisions cost two horses their lives and cost the jockey the quality of her life.

  • I don't think it is fair on the horses or riders to have to ride in those conditions that rider could of possibly died !and the horses did die and I dont think there death or the riders mental health is worth one race !!!

  • it really aint funny !! poor horses !!!

  • i dont see how you can laugh at that. two horses lost their lives and a rider was close to and you think thats funny?

  • sry, i love animals, but i hate horses! i have many reasons to hate. what is the problem other people laugh when other animal have horrible dead!

  • hey how about you learn to speak english first i can't understand a word you are saying, not that I want to anyways. Ok that is great that you have your own opinion or that you hate horses, but that does not mean that you should laugh when an animal has died especially if you do like animals, much less when it is two, and this crash has caused a rider a lot of pain so I suggest you be a little more mature and stop laughing.

  • wtf? whoever said tht is funny is fucked up. assholes.

  • wtf!!!!!!!! they should not have been riding in thoes conditions, racing by itself is dangerous but in the pouring rain?! god they should know better and because of their stupidness two horses are left dead and the rider mentally handicapped

  • its not funny...... rip the horses.... i no stacy and she has no memory and shes left mentally retarded.. the poor horses were just doing as they were told

  • would you want wind blowing in your ears when you are running 30+ Mph? I dont think so.

Most animals put their ears buck when running.

If they did not like it, their ears would be flat against their head.

And I'm not trying to be bitchy or anything, so please dont get angry!

The cruel thing is when they run them in bad weather, otherwise it's really not that bad.

  • Funny how people make assumptions about others. I don't agree with many aspects of horseracing particularly overbreeding in a saturated market leaving many going for slaughter. Tell PETA to give some of their money to actually helping animals instead of promoting themselves which is all they do (apart from illegally destroying healthy animals to comply with their beliefs). In the meantime my sympathies lie with the jockey here and all those that get injured as well as the horses that died.

  • the horses are dead, why shouldn't people go to the rider first?

  • HAHA are you kidding its like the best ever to watch!!

  • people care more bout the rider because a humans life is more important than a horses !!

  • are you JOKING?

  • poor rider , and poor HORSE :( i think they should have better control over the horses who not have a rider og his back !

  • i know i should care more for the people,

    but those poor horses :(

  • i remember this race. both horses were killed instantly. They hit head on at 40mph.

  • oh my god i hope the horeses are ok

  • Oh god.. can we please not laugh about this? The jockey suffered severe brain damage and does not remember her three-year racing career. It took her 8 years just to learn to speak again. I cannot stand people taking things like this lightly.

  • Holy fuck is that true? Thats really sad. I hate the way people say hat jockeys deserve getting injured, it was an awful accident.

  • Yes, it's true. I saw the special about it on animal planet, and you can barely understand her speech.

  • wait, the jockey died, right?

  • du behindertes scheißkind

  • OMG

  • 3 words... Oh.. My.. God =O

  • Yes.. OH MY GOD =O

  • thats fuckin horrible! take thsi off right now b4 i do

  • you know the victum is retarded now? its so sad..

  • oh no thats aweful =(

  • wat the hell who let the horse out shish, this wouldnt have happend if the horse didnt get out and didnt the other horse see the other one but the other hand that was really tragic

  • poor horses died!

  • lmfao! there are some funny comments..but the vid...ouch.

  • ...

  • Ok I know this seems horrible, it probably is.

But, is it confirmed that they actually died?

  • thats so sad =(

  • my heart just stopped.

  • :O I WOULDNT EVEN WALK ON PLACES LIKE THAT WITH MY HORSES!! POOR THINGS, HAVING TO GALLOP THAT FAST THROUGH AWFUL CONDITIONS. and poor horse that gets crashed into :(:(:(

  • They shouldnt race in those conditions, nd not start another race until the other has finished

  • R.i.p.....

  • uhh i have a resced tb off the track i hate horse racing its dangerous n make the horsesway too nervous!

  • FUCK, Why do people race in these conditions, its MADNESS!!!! Least they died quickly!!! :S

  • omg!! crazy RIP horses

sure yea had a good life

  • ffffffffff!!! jeeeezus!!

  • RIP Horses so sad

  • What About The Horses Man Poor Things

  • This is what I mean, horseback riding is so dangerous! We risk our lives riding. But its a good way to releave stress and make a new friend

  • ...the horses are...dead...

  • Looks like some stupid person lost control of the horse! I mean, 2 horses dead including the jockey also! Whoever lost control of the horse is a moron!

  • The people that ran this race should of been smart enough to cancel it ! any person could tell that this was WAY to dangerous anyway! WAY WAY to wet for anything, these horses died for NOTHING!

  • thats awful :(

  • That is disgusting. . .

  • I'm not an expert on the matter or anything, but it sounds to me like most posters here are a bunch of 12 year old PETA wannabe's who have no idea about horse racing.

First of all, thoroughbreds are bred to RACE.

Its instinct-the same way its instinct for a collie to herd.

And to whoever said jockeys treat their horses wrong-do some research.

Most jockeys are jockeys because its what they love to do, and they love horses. Obviously. Or they wouldn't spend 99% of their time with them.

  • you're completely right. but i wish they would race horses when they were older and more developed. when a horse is 2 years old (usually when a thoroughbred is first put on the track) their bones are actually cartilaginous and are damaged much more easily.

  • this is EXACTLY how i feel... i used to hate horse racing when i didnt konw what it was all about and how much the horses loved to do it. But then i realized that its not the racing im opposed to, its how early they're raced and how easily they are lame later in life. I also disagree with the way this race was run because only one race should be run at a time and the track was much too muddy to be run on.

  • dude u stole my video

  • It's sad and all, but I don't see what the conditions really have to do with it... If some negligent idiot lets a horse out during a race the same thing would happen during a sunny day. The amount of time they have to stop the horse once they see the oncoming horse could never be enough to stop the horse... I hope the person(s) responsible for letting that horse get lose went to jail.

  • Sad, That is why racing should be banned

  • racing is fine as long as it's planned well

  • aww

  • wow its almost hard to believe she died because she looked like she dint even move on impact but i guess i might be wrong who knows.......

  • Fuck me

  • what happens to the horses afterwards ????? =[

  • they died unfortunately

    so sad

  • that is just awful

  • o atın ne işi var orda yaa yuhh..

  • you guys dont understand, all those horses know how to do on the track is run, run run. I watched a show and now the rider (the one that was going the right way) was paralyzed, neck down. couldnt talk, eat or anything. this is a serious matter here. Both horses died right on the spot. Sad sad sad

  • Did the rider survive?

    :(

  • I am gonna be a jockey and i hate falls like that!!

    xxx

    i am well scared now!!

  • how sad when the collided u could see both horses necks break

  • HOLY SHIT!

  • i can't believe my horse enjoys races so much!

  • That is devastating!? Why do people post this?!?!?!

  • OM GOODNESS thats so sad. A similar accident happened 2 me. But thats TERRIFYING!!!!

  • OMG! thats crazy! Makes me never want to race my horse ever and i never started to race or think about raceing anyday!

  • oh my god did she die?

  • OMFG :'( poooooor horsies OMFG

  • Did the jockey die?

  • no she just got knocked out put she had multiple serious injuries

  • im shocked and suprised that your country could actually allow a race to go ahead and run under those conditions.yes it was an accident but its career ending when there tendons/ligaments are damaged and where do the horses end up useless!!!!!!!!i beleive in working horses but would not abuse them in this way EVER

  • @ presciousjules~ This could not have been prevented if it wasn't raining. This had NOTHING to do with the rain. A horse simply got loose on the track. It's hppened before, if it had been goody goody two shoes day, it STILL would have happened.

  • exactly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • oh my god ... poor horses !! T_T

  • oh my god ... poor horses !! T_T

  • thats sad. i understand that its an accident but still its sad. i cant believe that it just looks terrible.. well it was terrible. wow is all i can say

  • D; the only thing I feel sad about are the two horses that died.. I am a prof jockey myself but sorry guys while your racing you don't look around you if others fall.. I don't blame them for riding on

I just hope the horses died like right away...

  • i agree with you i hope they died right away they can't look back they have to race on i can't believe he said that it isn't there choice these things happen its equestrian after all

  • yh they were killed on impact :( at least the died doing what they loved

  • I heard that the Jockey, Stacie, got serious brain damage. All she wanted to do all her life was be a jockey, and when she could finally ride a horse again, she felt like she was allways falling off, but now, they've gotten her to where they can lead her around in a western saddle, but... I can't say anymorse.

  • If they hadnt been riding in such dangerous conditions this may not have happend. Think about it, all the jockeys must have had their sight impaired by their googles being splattered with rain and mud. That being the case, then the horses eye sight must have been hindered too! Especially if blinkered. This was a terrible accident that could have been avoided if the race had been stopped due to the gound conditions. Horses dont just run into each other... Just my view!

  • where is prescott downs??

  • Everyone look migits on horses can fly, wow you realy do learn somthing everyday

  • Everyone look migits on horses can fly, wow you realy do learn somthing everyday

  • Two horses die and a woman is seriously injured and you make a joke? This is not funny, it's devastating. Try to consider how this really affects her and her family. No joking matter.

  • (ps, that was a reply to Ringer)

  • paranoyanme: we have to realize that there are a bunch of arrogant asswipes on youtube, its better to just ignore them silly fucks.

  • yeh but they make it safer n dont do it in stupid conditions lyk tht !!!

    n we dont send r racehorses n horses 2 slaughter !

  • yeh but they make it safer n dont do it in stupid conditions lyk tht !!!

    n we dont send r racehorses n horses 2 slaughter !

  • omg thts horrible

least in england we hav sum sense n dont race r horses on conditions as bad as tht.

jeez american horse racing disgusts me

    least we care

  • Yup, your steeplechasing is REAL gentle. XDD

You obviously don't have a clue what you're talking about.

  • true it was no ones fault if the jockey owuld have pulled the horse away then the horse would have slipped from the muddy track causing the horse to get seriously hurt and i think that the loose horse would have noticed the horse hmmm it just hapens

  • eh is stacey ok?

  • I think she died..."lies lifeless on the track"....

  • "as the racers race on, two horses lie dead on the trac..." :(

  • This is a awful accident!! I can't even begin to imagine how terrible it must have been for the people who were involved. You can hear bones break and crack just listening to it.

Does anyone know how the horse got loose?

  • well, fine. But a jockey should know that a horse is coming. I was an excersise rider and I had/have some jockey friends. They all know that when you can hear a horses hoofs (since it was wet, they should have been louder) coming towards you, you should look up for a second and see whats happening, then swerve the horse to the outside. Common jockey knowledge.

  • If you are going to blame the jockey then you should blame the horse too. If you watch the video closely the horse she was riding didnt even flinch, while the loose horse hesitates. Nobody was at fault, it was just a horrific ACCIDENT.

  • I agree

  • lol, how in the world can you distinguish oncoming "hoofs" from the 10 other horses surrounding you? And please, anyone with moderate knowledge of horse racing would be able to see how quickly this happened. Horses aren't cars. You can't just make a tiny maneuver in 0 time.

  • And you think you can do that with a car?

I don't know if it's worth the time to insult you.

    No... it isn't.

  • Are you an idiot? You think it's as hard to maneuver a car as it is to maneuver a horse which is a living thing with a mind of its own? Race car drivers have reaction times of well under a second.

  • If anyone here is an idiot it is you.

Horse drivers has reaction times well under a second" too. That doesn't mean that they can avoid something on the road. Cars don't brake in below a second, or even below 10 seconds the speed these horses were running.

Stop being an idiot and choose your words more wisely. You don't want be to French do you?

  • You're an utter joke. You honestly believe a horse (in case you don't know, a horse is an animal that also has a mind of its own) and a mechanical object have the same reaction times? You can't swerve with a horse. There's no precise directional control. If there's a horse coming at a horse, it's up to the horse to get out of the way, the jockey has no chance. A race car driver can swerve using HIS reaction time, not a horses.

    And "horse driver"? lmao

  • Can you actually handle a conversation without having to show your utter lack of skills in insulting people?

I know what a horse is, I know what a car is, I know what a girlfriend is, something I have, and you don't.

To be honest, you don't have any friends at all.

When ever did I compare a horse to a mechanical object?

I said, a HORSE DRIVER, that's one who rides a horse. If you've never heard of a "HORSE DRIVER" than. You're lame, just so god damn lame.

  • I was right all along, You're not even worth the time to insult. May you die a quick and painless death.

  • lolol, I wonder if the horse drivers put gas in their horses before they begin driving them. Where is the gas pedal located on the horse?

But yeah, keep arguing things that you couldn't take 5 minutes to do some research on. You're making an argument on a subject having to do with race horses, at least know what you call someone who rides a race horse (my 6 year old cousin knows this one). You look like a complete idiot otherwise.

  • Lololololol, what are you? 10? You sure as hell talk like a 10 year old fag. omfg, lol.

If you think... you know what, forget it. I just visited your channel and saw you came from USA.

    God have mercy upon you.

And I hope that after you've died, you will be reborn as something else.

Seriously, you're American. You're not worthy to talk to me. Go and pretend to be smart.

  • u are so harsh stob beibg so abusive to people u wouldnt like it if they were abusive to u

  • First off, they are abusive to me, second of all, I don't care if they are abusive to me.

90% of all abusive comments on youtube are empty words.

Now to put all this in a language you understand:

lol im no harsh i good boy i spell baed u see my bedroom?

  • No offense but until you have ridden a horse and controll a 1000lb horse to do what exactly you want you have no say.

  • No offence, but, I myself has been riding many horses, as late as today.

And I know that it's impossible to control them to 100%, I never said that.

But, this person stated "Horses aren't cars. You can't just make a tiny maneuver in 0 time"

Which was that this argument was about. Saying that cars can stop in 0 time.

Then s/he started talking about reaction times of the car DRIVERS, but even though you have a reaction time below 1 second driving a car, that doesn't mean you can stop it in 1 s.

    :)
