Unfortunately when I was thirteen I was getting into this kind of lifestyle it really kicked in when I was about 15. I don't think it's where you're from or how you're bought up coz' I'm from N.Z and was bought up in a loving middle class home but more the mindset you have and the group you fall in to at school. Im now 19 and happy and healthy but it's still a struggle. Don't discount this movie, stories like this do occur...every parents fucking nightmare

But going to a highschool were i know everyone there, maybe at most, 10 percent of the students are like that. We really aren't much worse then generations before us. Granted maybe different areas have diffent factors, but again it has always been like that. The media loves to blow up the big bad and ugly, and when stuff like this does, happen the parents are to blame.

This movie thought me a big lesson.

I've always wanted to hang out with the cool kids in my school and I always said to my friends that they were boring and not cool. But after a while those "cool kids" got in all kinds of trouble etc... I saw this movie and realized I have the coolest friends ever because they stick to good things not bad things. The ending was great in my opinion. It's just not one of those story book open and close type of endings. It leaves you thinking and you have to infer what's trying to be presented. I think if you've ever felt remotely like Tracy you understand that at the end, what she's doing is like a release.
