  • so cute

  • @tunatick There's nothing wrong with putting 2 snakes in 1 vivarium. My snakes have lived with each other their whole lives, and never had any trouble.

I would agree if you would have said not to feed 2 snakes in 1 vivarium.

  • these corns are beautiful

  • Ohh the sweet beast is hungry.

    Beautiful creatures.

  • holy that snake is an asshole

  • hes so stupid look at his other videos...

u should not have these snakes!!!

    u just too retarded!!!!

if i can get ur name i will send the animal police to u.

oh and u dont need to make jokes off my english. i know its bad- but im not an american- so shut the fuck up!!!

u cant take care of "ur" animals- u so retarded....

  • bad idea if they have just ate.,

and dude get rid of that rough substrate, need something like aspen.

  • when will my snake shed hes about 6 month and how can I help him shed I have his hide log he can use to push himself against

  • I have a corn snake, I give it shaving I bought from the store, Parasite free, there specifficallyfor snakes, but he likes to get under the shavings should i change it? He has a piece of bark, well sorta a log hollowed out in his cage, but hes always under the shaving when i try to get him out so should i change the shaving to somthing erlse? if i do what should i change it to?

  • lol WTF DUDE THATS MY ASS!!!

  • how many mice do u feed your snake, i saw 3 in the one that got bitten

  • I can't remember how much I fed them really. I believe Nancy (the one that gets bitten) only ate once a week... Whereas Sid ate whenever he wanted.

  • I think that other snake is trying to get the mouse out the other snakes body... **confused***

  • how can u put two snakes together when one of them is eating

  • at 0:51 he said PUSSY!

  • And THAT'S why you always separate a snake that is feeding!

  • Are you stupid tizzlakkk??

Newspaper is poisunus to snakes and lizard moron!

And there is no problem wjhat so ever with having 2 or more snakes together!

I have 2 and my friend who is a breedes för about 11 years does the same thing. sucker.

NEVER use sand or newspaper for snakes! it WILL kill them!

  • @snuttetass

everybook i have read says that young snakes do real well on newspaper and has no health effects. mine have been on newspaper now for two years and are fine. i have two garters in the from the same hatch in the same viv and one is double the size of the other as one escaped for 5 months and went into hibernation due to the cold in the kitchen. manage to save her life though when i found her and now she is doing great. vids coming soon.

  • BULLSHIT. I have a 9 year old corn that has lived in an enclosure with newspaper on the bottom its whole life. No health issues whatsoever. Beautiful female 5' 2" long. I use whole sheets of newsprint to make weekly cleanups much easier. Change the water every other day and clean the glass and bottom every week. I learned this from a very successful breeder of both venomous and non-venomous snakes. Rat snakes can be housed together, not a good idea to feed them together though.

  • Don't act like you know it all, I'm a breeder, and I've used both sand and newspaper, totally harmless.

  • i fucking hate corn snakes

  • you can only have 2 snakes the same age and the same clutch thats what i heard any way i got two baby corns in the same viv same clutch they get on fine !

  • The corn snake that got bit still has a mouse in its mouth?? Look carefully at

0:18, you can see legs and a tail sticking out.

  • he bit him because the other snake had eatin and would smell like food

  • ouch lol, thank god he new it wasnt its food lol

  • hehe dumb motherfucker

  • Hi , can you tell me the morphs of the two snakes please ??

  • i have a female corn snake just short of 2ft 5 and want to get her a friend . just wondered if ya could give me some tips on how i go about introducing them together etc ( all i need to know basically ) your help would be aprreciated thanks.

  • I technically can't give advice on that as different people could have different outcomes with that.

My two corns got along the whole time I had them; they slept in the same caves, etc. in spite of having a 50 gal. tank for them.

Um, if you are going to try housing together all I can really say is make sure that the tank is large enough for the amount and that there are enough hiding/basking spots so they don't get competitive.

  • rule of thumb dont put 2 corn snakes in the same container while feeding

  • also dont forget, quarentien the new arrivial untill you are happy it has no parasites.

  • Very true. *Always* quarentien a new arrival as it could easily have something that may not be easy to see. (I found out my new boa has mites. :( )

  • Exactly dude, hope the mites clear up though!

  • I really hope so too. The guy I bought her from didn't take very good care of her so I'm trying to nurse her back to health as she hasn't eaten since I got her (over a month now) and her scales look like absolute crap (flaking and seem really dried out). Ugh, never again.

  • Well after a few sheds the scales should be back to almost normal, might have a couple missing if they are that bad, as for eating, you just got to give it time. or she is self brumatng cause of the time of year.

  • Bred corns a number of times. Largest clutch had 44 hatch. Perhaps this is why you feed them individually?

  • u guys need to shut the fuck up and let gaplox do what he wants. its the snakes choice. survival of the fittest.

  • lol i called mine sid hahaha that is awsome mine looks like urs to lol mine is a amel and he is hardcore he thinks he is a king he strikes well powerfull watch my vid wen it come out

  • Awesome, makes a change to see the snake getting a beating

  • what do you mean? ohh, your prolly one of those rat loving hippies huhhh,,,,just kiddin, im jsut being a dick. dont listen to me

  • google how to feed your snakes.

  • Wow, this is absolutely brutal. If you knew anything about corn snakes you would know that they shouldn't be housed together, or fed together. Not to mention the fact that you shouldn't be feeding them in their habitat and you aren't using the proper bedding. Do some research.

You can even see that the snake that was bitten was just swallowing more prey.

  • This video wasn't filmed in their habitat. I had a separate container to feed them in.

  • c) you should never, EVER house two snakes in one vivarium. why? because if one of them has an odd looking poo, you won't know which one! if one of them regurgitates a meal, you won't know which one! and regurgitating is very detrimental to their health. when a snake regurges, it depletes all of the snakes digestive juices, and sets itself up for another regurge, which will in turn kill the snake. another reason not to house 2 snakes together is...cannibalism! this is NOT unheard of

  • fyi corn snakes arent cannablistic and you will no which on eregurges because it wont have lump in its stomach dumbass

  • 1. Yes they are.

    2. Since you obviously more of an expert of identifying which snake regurged than Kathy Love or Don Soderburg, both esteemed professional snake breeders who have both put out books which SPECIFICALLY warn against cohabbing, perhaps you out to put out your own book? You could title it, "Shit I Pull Out of My Ass and Pass Off as Fact: Cornsnake Edition".

  • You feed two snakes in the same enclosure = both snakes will have a lump in their gut. If one regurgitates then obviously that said-lump will now be gone.

    ... Not rocket science.

  • there are WAY too many things wrong with this video!

    a) their bedding. snakes should be housed on either paper towel, newspaper, or shredded aspen bedding. repti-bark is too coarse, too dusty, and can often make your snake look as though it has mites - and if your snake DID have mites, you wouldn't know because you would think it was just from the substrate.

    b) you should not leave old sheds in their vivariums, that's just unclean husbandry!

  • Like I said with the other comment. This wasn't filmed in their actual habitat. They were in a container I used to feed them separately (less a few times). Hence why there's still sheds there.

I don't know how you handle your snakes, nor do I care, but when I had mine I never had a problem with them regurgitating their meals or anything else for that matter.. so maybe that says something about you if you've had those problems?

  • why dont you read the fucking description he siad it wasnt filmed in its actual habitat theyre fine and yeah

  • oh my...

  • tht was scary lol it scared the shit out of meh

  • The reason the snake bit the other one is because it could smell the mouse the other one had eaten earlier. if you look closely it does seem like there's a bump precisely where the snake is bitten

  • thats bad norty

  • Why have you put this on here?

Are snake lovers like myself or even random video watchers supposed to be impressed?

Why the hell would you put two recently fed snakes in such close proximity, what did you think would happen?

Did mummy not love you as a kid?

P.S. That bedding looks rough and uncomfortable, try some substrate or a softer alternative.

  • I was thinking exackly the same thing, that subtrate is way to rough, get some sand or newspaper down or something, and dont keep them together like that, its not fair on the snakes.

  • you cruel bastard, i hope it bites down on you one day

  • your husbandry leaves a lot to be desired.

  • mate sort your life out!!!

  • 1 you dont feed snakes together they can eat each other

2 tell me when u decide to help you poor snakes

  • you are a fuckin bellend

  • sick its people like you that give us reptile keepers a bad name u are providing unneccersary stress on ur animals

  • You are an idiot and dont deserve to keep snakes

  • What a tosser. Why the hell didn't you split them up? Some reptile keeper you are!

  • It was obvious what that corn was up to from the first second of the vid.

The fact you were more concerned with filming to get a "cool" vid to put on youtube is inexcusable.

Did you not think to put the camera down and spilt them up?

    Idiot!

  • bad idea to have then together

  • his trying to eat the other snake...

maybe because he thought that it was a food....

  • what kind of corn snake are they??

  • popcorn snake

  • the corn kind

  • wow....thats not good

  • omg my corn snakes called sid too

  • You should really feed your snakes seperately. I always did.

  • that substrate isn't good for snakes they can choke on it..

If you don't believe me search it

  • FEED THE FUCK!

  • SEPARATE THEM NOW! THERE IS NO REASON TO KEEP TWO SNAKES (unless for breeding but there to young) THIS IS A PRIME EXAMPLE WHY PLEASE SEPARATE THEM FOR YOUR SNAKES SAKE

  • You should be careful. I separate my corn snakes to feed them and about a month ago the day after feeding one had eaten another one the same size as itself(as well as the four pinkies it already ate). I think it still had the smell of pinky mouse on his snout and the aggressive eater of the bunch ate him because of the smell. Now I keep the aggressive one in his feeding box for an extra day after feeding.

  • Yeah, I've heard of cases where that's happened before and nearly saw it happen way back when, when I had a few garter snakes as a kid. That's why I always monitored what was going on when I fed my snakes as I didn't want one to eat the other or cause serious harm by accident. Sorry to hear about your snake though. :(

  • mines called sid 2 lol

  • are your snakes friendly?

  • At first Sid was "vicious"... hence the name. But after proper handling he mellowed right out and the both of them were great pets.

  • this is why you don't feed snakes in the same tank dumb ass.

  • why dont you break it up?

  • REPTILE BARK for bedding come on man do your research.. USE ASPEN OR CAREFRESH if you cant afford that use newspaper

  • dont ever feed them in the same tank u dumbass tard..god your a moron

  • Holy crap people. It was a one time incident if you actually read the description. This isn't the worst video on this site and aside from this I always fed them separately or under close supervision so it wouldn't happen again.

  • After watching this it is rather clear you should never own a snake, in fact the sheer ignorance of what I have seen here merely goes to show you have the iq of a retarded flea.. I'd say more but you'd never understand, regardless give the snakes to some one who can actually care for them.

  • only feed your snakes speratly, and out of the tank. if they swallow anything in the tank they cant digest it and they will die.

  • only but it coz teh other 1 was eating :S

  • why the hell you didnt stop them stupid

  • 1. Never feed corn snakes together...feed them seperatly...for the now obvious reason of one attacking the other.

2.Your using the wrong substrate completely...

the bark may state its ok for reptiles but it can cause serious breathing problems as the tiny bits of wood are breathed in, used aspen.

3.You should never feed snakes on any kind of substrate at all, take them out of the tank and place them on some kitchen roll.

  • your n"b u

  • the male bites a female on the neck when mating.

no matter what the age is.

  • why didn't you stop it!?

  • what a C**t why would you even film this get the snake of the other you idiot

  • why would you just sit there and film while this happens?

  • wtf you doing stupid idiot

  • your an arsehole dotn feed them both in teh same tank :|

  • If it ate under 24 hours before the pinkie/mouse will still be there. So the other cornsnake may have smelt it.

  • Is sid an albino corn or a miami corn or what morph is he\she?

  • thats weird.

  • thats weird!

  • what kind of substrate it that?

  • The reason its one snake per enclosure is, all snakes if hungry enough are cannibalistic. Even Ball Pythons, dont be

  • Your an idiot dude, one snak per enclosure........ idiot

  • u can hav 3 snakes per enclosure...i hav 4 in a 50 gallon tank u fool, they get along fine.

  • pinkie is a mouse that has no hair and is pink thats were the name orginates

  • is pinkie actually some type of animal pinkieor what? sorry im not that snake food educated

  • hey a pinky is baby mouse wit no hair

  • oh lol thanks

  • Corns don't really bite that hard, do they..? I've been bitten by mine twice and a flea bite hurts worse...

  • Nah. So far this one hasn't hurt when I've provoked the bite... Kind of like a garter snake that way.

  • He was biting the mouse in the other snake because he could sense the smell and heat of the mouse.

  • you disgust me

  • I try, thanks. :)

  • lol

  • is the snake hurt????

or were the just playing "snake bite" lol

  • They were both 100% after the video, and never had this "problem" again.

  • i wish animal cops houston would watch some of these vidios lol they would sort this shit out.

  • The one that is bitting is pretty.

  • the other snake was trying to eat!

  • big bully

  • that snake was an an ashole lol he had no reason to do that except from being a dick lol

  • FIIIGGGHHHHHTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!

  • do sumthing not work in ur head?????

  • u dumbass ur jus gunna set there and watch that big snake attack that baby one ur a fucking idiot.

  • ohhhhhhhhh beefbeefbeef between santiagoriverag and HumansDisgustMe come on

    HumansDisgustMe

  • fed you snake you fucking idiot

  • shut up

you no wenevr snakes smell food theyll grab it

  • Nice Corns, I suggest you always feed them seperately.

  • i think tha whoever thinks this is animal cruelty is a complete idiot an can go fuck himself.. like you!! HumansDisgustMe get a life.. or a girl

  • Yeah, you to obviously.

If you didnt even know that I AM a girl... Maybe you would like a boyfriend then?

  • ... that's why the sentence consists on two parts... get a life... ooooor (there's the interesting part) a girl, ok you don't like girls, so get a FUCKING life!!! lol

  • What is wrong with you???

FUCK of and dont care ffs!!

  • FUCK off.... that's a good argument you're as clever as your nickname lol lol

  • Hey, if theres anything you want for me, you wont get it. So, stop fooling around. Youre the idiot in this drama, not me. I said my opinion, and youre NOT gonna change it. Live with that!

  • it's animal cruelty if you can stop it and chose not to. plus the fact that this isn't the wild in the wild the snake would have a place to flee to

  • sid tasted him first before he bit the other one

  • *gasp* he might have been hungry lol

  • You guys are all idiots the guy obviously didn't mean for the corn snake to bite the other corn snake and he corn snakes bite? and how is that animal cruelty you dumb ass that kinda stuff happens all the time in the wild.

  • Actually, snakes are solitary animals, to find two right next to each other while one is feeding is close to one in a million chance.

So before you call people idiots... Research a little or don't say a fucking thing at all!

Another thing is YES he did mean for this to happen because

1: He fed them together! and

2: He didn't do a fucking thing to stop it! Risking the snake and a regurge.

  • Thats animal crualty you ******* bitch...

Why didnt you stop that snake from biting the other snake???!! You are a really stupid idiot... I got corn snakes to, and when I sat two snakes together they started to move like robots when they where in the same area of the cages so I immediately separated them incase they would harm eachother! I really hate people like you...

  • I feel sorry for your snakes.

You would have ripped its teeth out of its skin.

    That, my love.

    Is animal cruelty.

  • thats well cruel why feed one with one in the tank? you could have removed it before hand.

  • You should never feed them while in the same vivarium. You can clearly see in the video that the snake being bitten is still swallowing its meal. You are a completely irresponsible Corn snake keeper. To be quite honest you don't deserve to keep them.

I'm from the UK and in this country you would more than likely have your corn snakes removed from your care if the RSPCA were to see this video. Consider yourself lucky!

  • That's the only time I've fed them in the same tank, because I know what can happen if you do - and I like my snakes so I don't want them to eat each other. Every other time, other than this video, they're either fed in different enclosures or are monitored very closely to make sure none get withing a "danger" range.

Yeah, the UK has a bunch of dumb rules. Consider yourself lucky.

  • y didnt u stop thm ?

  • I didn't think that Sid would do any serious harm to the other snake. He had bitten me earlier on the thumb and it didn't hurt any more than when a thistle gets stuck in one's finger.

And, for the record, I didn't coax Sid into biting. I was just recording them when it happened.

  • it looked funny to me lol :D
