Gymnastics IS a art form, I mean if it were a art like ballet instead of a sport, gymnasts could perform longer. Imagine if Nastia didn't "hit" , or had a off day, or a small injury that threw her off, that ONE competition that only comes around every 4 years, her entire life would be a waste. Thank God she performed like the WINNER she is, but she would still be the same amazing gymnast that she is if she didn't do well at the Olympics....see what I mean?!

If gymnastics were a art form, more gymnasts would be rewarded financially, the difficulty level wouldn't compromise the beauty (like Nastia's ankles always crossing when she twists, & that double front on floor she cowboys it) If Nastia took her difficulty level down the tinest bit, she would still have amazing tricks, but she would be flawless! And gymnasts only have ONE chance every FOUR years to "make it" in the sport, so many gymnasts who should be rewarded get NOTHING for all their work!
