Moat circumcisions are done under surgery at a hospital, theirs not much pain, its just like any other surgery

Educate yourself. You will learn it has many negative affects later in life, and the fact that they're done in the hospital does not mean there is no pain. The pain is excruciating. God only knows how the trauma affects the little boy's sexual development. Most of all, no one has the right to make that decision for another man.

Preforming a none medical surgery on an infant is illegal under US law. Also the needless mutilation of a childs body clearly infringes on the childs basic human right to bodily integrity. It's a human rights violation which is illigal under international law. Nobody has the right to remove healthy skin tissue from a child when there is no medical need.

Unsurprisingly, it's called a 'skin bridge'. It is, as others have said, one of the most common complications of circumcision and happens even with 'good' circumcisions (as if there is such a thing).

@ballm0use In order for this situation to change, mothers are going to have to stand up for their boys and not let them be circumcised as well. As long as ignorant and often sexist women have prejudice against uncircumcised men for aesthetics and false claims of hygiene, the motivation to continue this practice will not go away. Doing away with routine infant circumcision will have to start with doctors being honest with parents, & mothers/women basing thier sons circ decision on aesthetics.

it can easily be fixed with a minor procedure, this is why circumcision aftercare is so important, this is the parents responsibility.

the reason it happens is because the wound from the circumcision cut comes into constant contact with the glans, this can be prevented by the application of petroleum jelly to the glans while healing. the op wont hurt, it will be very simple and its nothing to worry about.

the skin doesn't actually "regrow", either.. it just grows together with the wounded head of the penis during the healing process. it is likely that the mother did not carefully inspect the area each day as it was healing to make sure it wasn't attaching wrong, etc.

Just as sand does not cause infections of the labia or clitoral hood, neither does sand cause penis or foreskin infections. In fact, the foreskin's purpose is largely in a protective role. In fact, your idea is an attempt to apply current logic to past events - but it's not the case.

Studies go both ways, but no national medical organization on Earth recommends infant circumcision.
