WOW you missed the point, Hovind should know eyes see light waves, and yes if our eyes were created by a designer maybe we would see more than a few percent of the magnetic/light wave spectrum.

Pretty poor design realy when most animals hear a wider bandwith than our ears.

Man, Hovind isn't even good enough for jail. Someone should have just dumped his ass in the jungle so he could see just how well natural selection really works. If he survived, I bet he wouldn't stay a creationist for long. I watched a Kent Hovind video where he said if our eyes could see a broader spectrum we would see "x" rays and the sound coming from a piano.
Now as most high school students would know that sound is air pressure waves and nothing to do with magnetic/light wave our eyes see.
The difference in speed of light verses sound also gives a massive clue the 2 different waves are so far seperated, a blind man on a galloping horse could see the difference, suprising an ex science teacher couldn't.

wow, u r an idiot. All sound, light, rays, etc. have a wave length. We see a small portion of these wave lengths. All he said is what if our eyes could see the whole spectrum. They say deer see in black and white. If we saw only b&w, u would laugh at anyone who said there was more to see. There is documented reports of people that could see a little bit more on either side of "the light spectrum". Just because u can't see it, doesn't mean it can't be seen.

WOW you missed the point, Hovind should know eyes see light waves, and yes if our eyes were created by a designer maybe we would see more than a few percent of the magnetic/light wave spectrum.
Ears on the other hand detect a few percent of the audio spectrum AIR PRESSURE variations, typically 20 hertz to around 16 kilo hertz.
Pretty poor design realy when most animals hear a wider bandwith than our ears.

For more proof of this, take a video camera and turn on the night vision. Find a computer or phone that has an inferred port that is on. Watch the port with the camera, see those flashes? Why couldn't you see them before? Because your eyes can't see inferred. So how can the camera see what u can't? Apparently the wave lengths outside of our vision are visible, just not to us. Now, what if you could see all of the wave lengths? That is all that Hovind was saying.

A sound wave only exists within a system that contains enough atmosphere as to be altered by and thus transfer a vibration. This "air vibration" travels through the air and collides with you ear drum, which in turn converts it into electrical impulses to your brain.sound cannot exist in a vacuum, where as all light waves can. But, regardless, the point is moot since it has nothing to do with evolution.

Yes remote control units do to even with a $50 dollar camera you can see it, shows you how crap our eyes were "designed".
And when it comes to our other senses most animals have far better senses, smell, hearing, taste, touch, the fact we are warm blooded and most of the energy we consume is used just for body heat shows a very inefficient "design"
