I heard this song for the first time a few days ago and I really liked it. I just found out that it was written about Kelly Clarkson and I think that it isn't all that relevent. The only thing that's really important about it is that it's the reason why this song was written but apart from that I think that these two's personal life isn't really something for everyone out there to worry about. Just enjoy the song.

We were fighting all the time, and no matter what I felt like he was always going to see himself as right, and I was going to be wrong. Kelly HAS pretty much confirmed he got engaged the same day he broke up with her. She wasn't really sad about losing him as a lover but she felt that she had been betrayed as a human and she said she wouldn't even wish that on anyone. Its kinda sad!

Well, comparing Kelly's song writing ability to David's... David wins hands down. That's the reason like his music more :) It's so deep and meaningful, while Kelly really just skims the surface, especially in "Never Again". But it's no offense to Kelly Fans, I like to listen to some of her music too.
