I've heard rumors they're working on new types of synthesizers that can actually play without a keyboard or user interface, via a computer - like a player piano! In fact, I'm a little surprised piano players still exist at all given the fact that holes in paper can do their work. What if they can start recording musical performances that could be played back later? Then the music industry would be over.
looks pretty cool and well built but slight problem though - sequencing out the drum beat, the last button needs to be taken off, as you heard the gap at the end. Then you can seamless drumbeats
Thanks Ewmoo! Yeah, maybe by adjusting the focus knob it changed up the timing. It delays the clock to gate the next drum sound, which would move the timing off by one beat if adjusted during the sequence. But once it's running it will do 16 continuous steps and repeat like on a standard drum machine.
I can't tell you how amazing this is... words just don't do it justice!!! SO COOL!!!

No, it's seamless. I think I didn't have the last beat selected in the video.

@mysterycircuits even if you did select the last one you'd add a trip on the hi-hat.
I noticed you had mentioned about the dial for trimming out the delay in the loop, is that what you meant for letting it to be seamless?
I apologize if my before comment sounded like I was critizing, I like what you've built. It's pretty sweet.

Also, beware of those synthesizers. Synthesizers could threaten the livelihood of violin players and saxophonists.
