As said, the only thing the DEP has on file is a permit for a small drainage situation from 2009, not this. There was much much more about the Fish Farm in town, which was private land, compared to this, which we all own.

We need answers!

All the water these trees absorb needs to go someplace.

The DEP has been trying to contact the town as of 1/10/12 with no response.

Please call David Sumba of the DEP 908-879-3769. He has the power to stop this, but is overworked and understaffed, but if enough people get to him he may do something, and this may be put on his front burner.

In the library recently, a meeting in town of local seniors who had overheard some comments about this said that the whole thing was news to them. I think there was one article in one paper, a model displayed in the library for a while about a proposed plan, and that was it.

This reeks of someone's pet project being pushed through in favor of certain contractors, with some kind of competition in mind with other towns for better fields.

How can the town do this without anyone knowing about it or a traffic and environmental assesment??? I thought Florham Park was better than that...
