He won 7 italian leagues (2 revoked, but that was not his fault), 1 champions league, 1 World Cup, 1 intercontinental cup, 4th best scorer for the italian national team, top scorer for Juventus. He scored several of the most important goals for Juventus (many that clinched titles), he scored in the 2006 WC semifinal, he scored the goal that gave Juventus the intercontinental cup. Not many players can say this.

Del Piero was "A VERY BEAUTIFUL" player ( HUGE SKILLS ), and he was part of a team ( Juve ), with great teamates always ( Zizou, Nedved etc, everybody know them ). He played for Juve in a period ( 94-06 ) which Juve ALWAYS had "good treatment" from refs ( Calciopoli ). So he was "guaranteed" from all sides ( teamates and refs + Juve's pharmacie shop --> Remember what Zehman said abt that ).

I'm from Scotland, I didn't really watch football much before, but I got a Del Piero shirt on holiday at France (lol) when I was 9. My mum really liked this player, so one day I had to write about a famous person, I chose Del Piero and learned a lot of things from him. I realised he was actually an amazing player so i watched him play whenever his team was on and began to love this guy!
I support Liverpool, but I'll always remember Del Piero, the legend :)

Baggio si era fatto male seriamente in semifinale contro la BUlgaria. In finale ci aveva portato praticamente lui da solo. Ma Sacchi non doveva farlo giocare perche' era infortunato, e invece, da pazzo, l'ha tenuto in campo per 120 minuti. Per il resto sono d'accordo.
