@SirChubblesSteen false-chord screaming is different than fry, just the way you execute the sound and the sound you get are different. the vocalist can tell the difference, even if it isnt always heard by the fans. i can do both. also, some bands you could compare are ABANDON ALL SHIPS (false-chord) and BRING ME THE HORIZON (fry screaming), and you just listened to death growls and screams on that video. hope this helped!

It's something you will never understand. When Metal Heads hear this their adrenaline starts pumping and its like a type of high. When Metal heads hear this they feel no pain, they feel only power. Why do you think their are mosh pits? NO one in a mosh pit feels pain only strength and power.

the vocals go with the lyrics.

"we'll make them feel your pain", a line like that cant be sung in a deep baritone... theres some sort of law against that sort of pretensiousness.

when youve got really powerful, "angry" lyrics, you have to match them with a really powerful, "angry" voice.

with this sort of music you just cant have a clean vocal approach.

its irrelevant whether or not you can understand the lyrics, its the feeling emitted by the song. as for the point, there are just some topics in which normal singing just cant match, and that is where metal comes in. it can portray the correct level of evil intended for the song
