E.g. you need to have 75 illusion before you can get expert illusion spells.

@Jaaack700 no no no just make sure u have flame astronach at the start and your good to go. the astronach is a good meat shield that does lots of damage.

@Jaaack700 No, the mages re for ong range battle, an the conjuration and ilusion spells re used to distract ur enemies, the mages re probably the class wihich recieve the most low damage in the game, and if the enemies hit u u can use a lot f retoration and defense epells

@Thegyptianone It's a Restoration spell. I believe it's called Lesser Ward. It will eventually be useless with stronger enemies, though.

@thewizofmasta As far as finding them the spells' locations are randomized... so yo have to do a lot of dun

geon diving... merchants won't sell certain spells until you level up so far... apparently most merchants won't sell master spells until you reach level 90! apprentice spells are supposed to pop up as you approach 15 adept as you hit 30.

@thewizofmasta join the mages college. get a certain skill to 90. find that specific skill trainer at the college and ask them if their is anymore to learn about _____? you do a quest and you wil be rewarded 1 of the master spells in that school of magic. the rest you will have to buy but they wont be available until you have done the master spells quest. theirs a quest for every magic school

@XxCrystalxNethxX Amulet, Ring, Armor & Helmet, those are the 4 pieces you can enchant to make 100% Magicka Decrease. You need Grand Soul Gem or Black Soul Gem, with 100 enchanting. Each piece can be enchanted with 25% Magicka(Spell Class of your preference). So for example, 100% Conjuration Decrease = Unlimited Magic for that particular spell class.

I've never really played a magic character so i don't know exactly what happens but you can join the collage of winterhold which is basically the mage guild.
