  • "Reminds me of Glenn Beck"

  • i found out this guy was from belgium and was on holiday when he got caught up in the mix

  • @BadBlutoBone

You're wrong. This man was born in Britanny in 1912. He's known as the first French to have been shot during the occupation.

There is even a subway station with his name in Paris.

  • And boy did they reep. But they don't have to worry. Frenchies like to attack America for our defense spending but what will they do when the germans or the russians are down their throat again. They will beg and plead for America to save them as usual. Maybe next time we won't be there.

  • The french shouldn't cry. They won in 1918 and sought to destroy the german people. They underestimated German pride and it bit them in the ass. Maybe if he got off his hoity toity ass and picked up a rifle things would have been different. What the germans did during the war and iccupation was innexcusable but how many Germans strved to death while Germany was forced to devalue its currencey to pay back France and england. You reep what you sew.

  • @p2breaker

The Americans were opposed to full reimbursement from the Germans. The largest part of the war was spent in northern France, destroying everything.

The French have not benefited much from the German money to rebuild.

The German debt has just been paid, only NOW, in 2010 ...

  • USAsoldier, you couldn't say better ! Making fun of this guy is the same as making fun of New Yorkers after 9/11. Or of a Viet Nam Vet after the fall of Saigon. The cretin who posted this just exposed his own void.

  • This guy is Jaques Bonsergent. he was the first martyr of french resistance.

On 10 November 1940, he was in fact involuntarily involved in a scuffle in which a German soldier was hit. Sentenced to death, he was executed at the Fort de Vincennes [1] it was 28 years old.

Death only because he had hit a German in order to protect another french.

those who mock him are stupid, cowardly and stupid.

  • @DuguesclinBZH

  • The weeping Frenchmen

    Some things never change.

  • HAA HAA

  • Being in his late 40s or 50s in 1940, this daddy surely spent 4 years in the trenches of WW1, probably participated in major battles like Verdun, and saw his pals killed or mutilated. In Nov. 1918 he felt the exhilaration of victory and of the coming peace.

We may imagine his thoughts now, in the 1940 disaster.

  • Fridomfry, Amen!

This video is an INSULT to the USA & FRANCE! This poor patriot is weeping for his beloved country -- as NAZI troops march into Paris.

    Vive La France et L'America!

  • That man lost his country, for a while. How would any of us feel? I love this picture I have a copy on the back of a magazine during ww2. It's a constant reminder that it could happen again!

  • Uh, what *is* this?

  • It's a famous photo of a Frenchman on the day the Nazis marched into Paris. Been a symbol of deafeat for years.

  • Okay!
