I actually fell asleep during the Edward Norton's Hulk movie and have barely any recollection of the second part of the flick. It was complete garbage, Edward Norton notwithstanding. Boring and moody and tedious, I thought the scenes with Tim Roth battling Hulk were ridiculous (in a bad way). I haven't read the comics, so I suppose for people who have that movie was closer to the bible.

The emotion, the facial expressions, the dramatic delayed reaction, the heavy breathing, the Shakespearian-like dialog ...oh, yeah, Edward Norton owned this role. NOT!!! The second film was a bigger flop than the first, imho, because the changes made in the second film were minimal. All this hype and all we got was the same boring drama with goat face (Ed Norton) leading the way.
The 1st Hulk movie made me sit through it with a full blatter struggling not to piss myself carefully walking to the toilets after watching the full credits not to take a step too heavy cuz i was on the edge, cuz it was THE HULK. the 2nd one i did not even sit through, walked out the cinema about 45 mins in, tastes differ, the same friend who went with me to the 1st movie stuck around leaving me in the foyer for an hour orso. Well at least i got to fill my blatter again.

Whereas The Hulk in 03 looked like a big neon green cartoon that was unbelieveably big. Old hulk - 23ft tall. New Hulk 9ft tall + grayish green color as in the comics. Now they are changing the hulk again. But they are staying with the new hulk but with a different guy.
T.I.H. was way better than the Hulk. Reasons: 1 - Ed Norton is one of the worlds greatest actors. 2 - The Hulk looks so much more realistic. 3 - Story was better and more truthful to the hulk story. 4 - The villain was epic and so was the end battle. Unfortunately, the first hulk SUCKED so bad that the production companies didnt want to throw in extra money to make the graphics better in fear of it being wasted as with the first one. Some graphics were amazing, others not so much.

I liked The Hulk more. I'm not saying it didn't have some problems but it still was an over all better movie than the Edward Norton version, in my opinion. The Incredible Hulk basically has no story. The effects aren't that great either. They look too much like cgi. Also I didn't care for the new Hulk design. His head was too small and they should have showed some restraint with the muscle striations in his chest. The Ultimate destruction video game was a better hulk experience lol.

As a die hard Hulk fan I liked both of course, I feel the first one matched The Hulks body structure a lot better being more massive instead in The Incredible Hulk how he is lean and cut. Either way I would go see the next one if and when it comes out and I hope the Hulk does some damage on the Avengers!

i love marvel movies. I've seen almost all of them (besides x-men: first class) even the old ones before blade 1. no matter how good or bad they are, i still see them. i must say marvel movies are getting better ever since iron man came out. i like both hulk movies, sure the 2008 one was better but each movie has something the other one doesn't have. the abomination was better than bruce's father even doe he looks cool (like zues). he did more destruction and leaping in 2003 than the other.

Growing up as a kid ,people would always tell me. Marvel is more realistic in its approach to the Physics of the comics. No multi-dimension- multi verse characters. However, recently Dr. Michio Kaku has explained quite clearly that there are Indeed Multi Dimensional, Multi Verse possibillities which aligns with the DC always making things up writers, according to the Marvel Faithful. the greatest issue may just be who's Universe(s) is it. Honestly, I liked both Hulk movies. I enjoyed the first because I loved that he was so epically powerful. However, I enjoyed the second because he seemed somewhat more vunerable which adds to the suspense.

@MortalKombatTribute In the comic books Hulk once smashed two plate tectonics together. I don't think jumping over an ocean is a far stretch. in the latest one I counted about 5 buildings being destroyed in the last fighting scene, the whole city should have been demolished especially if there's two of them, this hulk was way too advanced and smart. He kept saying how I CAN'T CONTROL IT but he does like almost throughout the whole movie.

The first hulk was awesome! Extremely well done. A little slow at times, but when the hulk comes out it was movie making magic at its finest! The second version of the hulk just felt cheap and not very well done.a fine example of how the audience is stupid for not appreciating the first movie. The first Hulk I think was way better than the Incredible Hulk!! The first one had a better feel to it and the story line was pretty unique. Also, the hulk in the first one looked much more real, unlike tw second one. The newer Hulk looked too much like a realy big toy or like a over the top, trying footage Computer animation. I liked The Hulk more. I'm not saying it didn't have some problems but it still was an over all better movie than the Edward Norton version, in my opinion. The Incredible Hulk basically has no story. The effects aren't that great either. They look too much like cgi. Also I didn't care for the new Hulk design. His head was too small and they should have showed some restraint with the muscle striations in his chest. The Ultimate destruction video game was a better hulk experience lol.

As a die hard Hulk fan I liked both of course, I feel the first one matched The Hulks body structure a lot better being more massive instead in The Incredible Hulk how he is lean and cut. Either way I would go see the next one if and when it comes out and I hope the Hulk does some damage on the Avengers!

@TupadrePancho Yes but I found the first movie itself to be difficult to follow which is y personally I didnt like it. I didnt hate it but I would have been ''reboot it''. Good point on the Hulk's size however if he was the same size in the avengers movie would you tink the avengers would even stand a chance. I liked all their movies except Ironman 2[didnt hate it].

I didnt looked that way before, but yes, if Hulk were as big as in the first, NO way the more human-like avengers we see in this movies could ever stand chance. And the ironman movie 2, I didnt hate it either but come on, shouldnt it me more about the suit, the weapons? after all it is called Ironman not Tony Stark. Thanks for the feedback!!

i love marvel movies. I've seen almost all of them (besides x-men: first class) even the old ones before blade 1. no matter how good or bad they are, i still see them. i must say marvel movies are getting better ever since iron man came out. i like both hulk movies, sure the 2008 one was better but each movie has something the other one doesn't have. the abomination was better than bruce's father even doe he looks cool (like zues). he did more destruction and leaping in 2003 than the other.

Growing up as a kid ,people would always tell me. Marvel is more realistic in its approach to the Physics of the comics. No multi-dimension- multi verse characters. However, recently Dr. Michio Kaku has explained quite clearly that there are Indeed Multi Dimensional, Multi Verse possibillities which aligns with the DC always making things up writers, according to the Marvel Faithful. the greatest issue may just be who's Universe(s) is it. Marvel or DC. Somebody please tell me?

Honestly, I liked both Hulk movies. I enjoyed the first because I loved that he was so epically powerful. However, I enjoyed the second because he seemed somewhat more vunerable which adds to the suspense.

my biggest problems with hulk 1 was the fact that he could fly(well he jumped the ocean but still) it didnt make much sense i liked the new hulk well sorta you'd have to like it better then the last if you came to it with such low expectations, in conclusion i am glad there will be no more hulk till avengers and when that epically fails with fans(be honest iron man thor hulk and captain america are the only heroes in it and i dont think they can make a smooth story) then they can try hulk again

@MortalKombatTribute In the comic books Hulk once smashed two plate tectonics together. I don't think jumping over an ocean is a far stretch. in the latest one I counted about 5 buildings being destroyed in the last fighting scene, the whole city should have been demolished especially if there's two of them, this hulk was way too advanced and smart. He kept saying how I CAN'T CONTROL IT but he does like almost throughout the whole movie.

This Incredible Hulk, thing, and the Avengers coming up. I mean, I was okay with the difference between Eric Bana and then changing the story and replacing him with Edward Norton, I'm okay with that. But Norton's movie is suppose to foreshadow the Avengers and now they're replacing Edward Norton for some other schmuck? Way to fuck up the franchise, MARVEL!

The first hulk was awesome! Extremely well done. A little slow at times, but when the hulk comes out it was movie making magic at its finest! The second version of the hulk just felt cheap and not very well done.a fine example of how the audience is stupid for not appreciating the first movie. They don't deserve to be called fans and shouldn't be listened to!

The first Hulk I think was way better than the Incredible Hulk!! The first one had a better feel to it and the story line was pretty unique. Also, the hulk in the first one looked much more real, unlike tw second one. The newer Hulk looked too much like a realy big toy or like a over the top, trying footage Computer animation. Again, first one better by far!

@93142 its cool to see someone have their own opinion on which hulk is better. i wouldn't say i think the first hulk looks more real but more like the comic book hulk come to life. the second has a more realistic look to him with a faded green while the first has regular green. i like both hulks equally but the the first hulk looks how i would imagine him. overall i think the incredible hulk is a little better because of abomination.he didn't really look like him but the chaos he cause was cool.

In the second movie, Hulk looked like a giant toy. He didn't even ressembled to Norton. In the other hand, in 2003 Hulk was very close to Bana's look. Pity.
